Thanks for your input, which I understand. However, this particular one was quite clever, and caught a lot of people out due its timing (Fathers Day), appearance, and the fact it went through WhatsApp, not email. It was far more believable than all the others. And all I was doing was try to help.

Cannabis ban imposed on schools, pot smoking in public banned from Friday
2long replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
In the civilised world, the government would have thought about, discussed, and implemented these laws BEFORE making the stuff legal. It really does beggar belief how inept these Muppets are!- 46 replies

Red plate at night - real world experience
2long replied to pazienza's topic in Thailand Motor Discussion
'Officially' they're trade plates and should only be driven for test drive purposes. But in the real world they're on all new vehicles until the white plates arrive. This could take a couple of weeks or (like people I know) over a year. You'd have to try pretty hard to get done by the cops just for this. If you do drive at night, just be careful not to break any laws... but I can't talk about road block from the north to BKK. That might offer up some tea money opportunities if you get the wrong cop. -
I'm similar at home. The final mouthful is time to move the plate or bowl away from the table. But in a restaurant I like to chill for 5 minutes.

We all have our own 'special ways,' which some might say is OCD while others say is normal. What's YOURS? - Out on the road, I will do almost anything to avoid having to u-turn ???? - At home I like my furniture parallel with the walls or tile gaps on the floor ???? - On TVs I used to have to insist on the volume being an even number or a 5, 15, 25 etc, but I'm recovering from that. ????????

Don't they understand that even if/when it is lifted, many Thais will still wear the stupid masks, and I reckon quite a lot of businesses will force or encourage staff and customers to, as well. It's not as if all of a sudden everyone will stop wearing (and more importantly buying) them.

"the CCSA must exercise great caution and listen to the opinions of many experts" Well, they need to look outside their silly little box, and at real 'experts' around the world. They're Muppets, they really are. ????????

JEEZ! So many posters on here are assuming that the guy found out he was banging a cheezer, and that's what drove him to murder her/him. If they had been dating so long, the Russian already knew, as many others do. If he did commit this murder, then there is likely another reason that the surprise of meat and two veg.

I just got some WhatsApps for what is apparently a scam, so be careful! It's a quiz about Heineken followed by 'forward this 20 friends' and claim your gift. https://www.onlinethreatalerts.com/article/2022/6/12/heineken-whatsapp-scam-2022-free-cooler-competition-contest-for-fathers-day/

"the governor said that his administration will try to find a venue where the protesters could demonstrate peacefully." I think that the whole point of a protest is it being in a location to get plenty of news, sometimes by inconveniencing the public or worse. Finding them a venue that is not of their choice is like a cucumber in a d*ldo fight! ...I mean a sandwich in a gunfight... oh, you know what I mean. How do you edit these posts? ????????

If the statute of limitations expires today, then will he be a free man tomorrow? If yes, then there's no need for him to flee, and no need to forewarn immigration. -
Man kicks woman after she attacks his mum - but there's a back story
2long replied to webfact's topic in Bangkok News
I have to admit that at first the mother (in orange/red????????) was my first suspect, as it's not clear at that stage of the video. Are you being a bit harsh on @toofarnorth? -
Years ago I sent my rabbit with Nok Air (and my family) to Hat Yai or NST. The rabbit went in the special place for pets, and the price was either 20B or free. I can't remember!

Man kicks woman after she attacks his mum - but there's a back story
2long replied to webfact's topic in Bangkok News
While we're in 2022 and people are identifying as this and that and want equality, it could be considered by some as 'less bad than it was before' to strike a female. And that's partly the mindset I had before watching the video... But oh my lord what an over-reacting little Somchai! The 'weird woman' hardly damaged the car and she didn't really strike his mum hard or with 'violent intent' or more than once. This little pr*ck obviously has some issues himself, if he can't handle his emotions. -
My favourite restaurant won't take cash anymore. Okami Sushi Many 'trusting' vendors take a glance at the customer's screen and see it's good enough. Funnily enough, when I recently flew LGW-BKK at BOTH ends my Thailand pass was checked 'by the naked eye' and not scanned! These three low lifes deserve food poisoning.
