    There are some rather high value blocks of land in Thailand owned by people of Indian origin who have Thai nationality. Nana in Bangkok might be an example and parts of Walking St.

    Twenty was announced for the first 2 days of 7, and my wife mentioned her friend's brother got killed on his motorcycle in the capitol area.

    My Mrs is telling me it is subdued in the village too. Not as many people about as years past, at the temple, in the streets. She seems to think people have less money and are concerned what the future holds. Things rarely hold up to childhood memories.

    Yes, a well known bar owner suggested he takes a months money in a few days during Songkran. But there is quite a list of other businesses (like restaurants) who just decide to close down as it is impossible to do their business. For me, a PIA.....
