  1. I'm surprised one of those ten signatures was not an amendment authorising upgrade to one of the more expensive debit cards. Filthy bank that will stooge you at every opportunity. The fastest easiest thing i ever did with them in 12 years was closing my account. Surprisingly
  2. Are these accounts only available to business customers? I already have regular accounts opened when I had a work permit and wife but a USD account would be very handy.
  3. I intoxicated everyday also. No complaints.
  4. What is the expo about? I see signs all over phuket about an "expo" but there's no information anywhere about what kind of expo it is? To me it's like advertising "festival" everywhere and not mentioning what kind of festival it is.
  5. I'm still using ex wifes id card number combined with my phone number. It's a pretty loose set up.
  6. From the pea app select mobile banking as payment. It will automatically open the kasikorn app and enter the numbers in the fields automatically.
  7. I'm a Yamaha guy. I had a mt07 before Thailand and loved it. I'd like to get one again but spend a lot of time in traffic jams and like the storage of a scooter. Also better for the girlfriend. So I want the (buy outright) nmax connect. Been reading lots of reviews of yamaha places around Phuket and they're not great. Bolts falling off etc. Mechancs causing damage and getting you to pay. Prices higher than the yamaha Thailand website. Maybe higher if not getting on finance? The biggest concern is parts. Yamaha doesn't seem that popular in Thailand or something. Lots of reports of people waiting weeks/months for simple parts? Apparently from Indonesia? My concern is buying something that is a pain in the butt for parts and that any little shop can't do basic repairs for if I get a flat tire or something. Nmax is tubeless. So wondering if it's better to just get a honda or something. Pcx is the equivalent honda I think. Any thoughts?
  8. "An open mind" for something different. Must've lost the flow chart
  9. I love it. Particularly quality Japanese style. Gives me something to look at. The octopus surrounding the butt hole is too much though and kind of weird
  10. Last time i went to the cop shop the cop came out in a towel. At least this guy kind of has his uniform on
  11. Forgot to paste นัดกัญ @pattaya Cannabis Cafe 086 344 4920 https://maps.google.com/?cid=15764981325751863683&entry=gps
  12. In naklua. นัดกัญ or something. I was going there to get cbd and thc oil but haven't been since the weed thing has really taken off. I imagine they are probably selling buds in there now. Not a comfortable place to sit though. Unless you like sitting around with thais you don't know watching channel 3 in silence.
  13. Perhaps everytime they talk about laying off the blurrer guy he calls the blur guy union and threatens them. Blurring very important.
  14. Do you need a hotel booking to enter Thailand? I had an issuewith airline asking me for one on my last entry but that was during Thailand pass. I had to show my condo rental contract.
  15. Lets not forget that a lot of the bars were turned into "restaurants" when the government told everyone drinking alchohol together will give you covid but eating together no problem. They didn't seem to mention that then.
  16. Saw the video earlier. Kind of surreal to see people calmly running around on fire. No stop drop and roll and everyone just standing around dumbfounded. I imagine a lot of people were in shock. If those 20+ ppl helped to douse the ppl on fire would've helped them a lot I think. Very similar to the tiger disco one at Bangla except there were some people able to jump from a first floor exit in that one. Crappy electrics, fire exits and highly flammable insulation need to really be looked into.
  17. My experience working here as a manager was that the staff tend to have all the power. In the West people try not to lose their job. If they get told off at work or something they try to improve. In Thailand staff will just walk out leaving you with no staff, sometimes taking their buddies with them. I think i also read here that by law you can't fire them or something which I think gives them a fearlessness. If they can't be fired then why would they need to do a good job? Just sit around cracking nuts, eating the daily rice gossiping and taking the <deleted>.
  18. Is there a minimum amount of passport pages required to enter Thailand? I think i have 1.5 left and a couple of small gaps on other pages. Would probably be entering on a visa exemption.
  19. My rationale was that I was in the 25th floor above all the filth
  20. I bought one of those mi filters for my condo. It was always at 0 so after a month I sold it. I guess the air was pretty clean anyway
  21. Keep it under control in Thailand you mean?
