75* CELCIUS is the PERFECT temperature for all coffees made on heated milk. Anything less than that is only tepid or verging on cold. I make cappuccinos & lattes every day and milk heated to 35* celcius is STILL cold. Thai baristas are trained to heat the milk to 60* celcius and those coffees are only tepid. 75* celcius is NOT too hot to burn your mouth. Heck even the thermometer I purchased for heating the milk, from a coffee manufacturer, has a red line on it at 75* celcius as the point to stop heating the milk. So based on your "above 35 remark" I guess yo only like to drink cold coffee.

you're obviously talking 94* fahrenheit, which is only 34* celcius. That's cold coffee because milk straight from the fridge is usually 10* celcius. If you mean 94* celcius then that's > 200* fahrenheight. That's burn your mouth coffee. As I said the perfect temperature to heat the milk to for cappuccinos, lattes etc is 75* celcius.

since when do coffee shops make hot coffee with boiling water? Cappuccinos, Lattes etc are all made with heated milk which should be heated to 75*c not 60*c as Thai baristas are taught.

coffee shops serve warm coffee because their baristas are not taught the correct temperature to heat the milk to. They are taught to heat the milk to 60*c when it should be 75*c.

back up your claims with a list of the REAL crimes he was convicted of, not the made up ones, and yes it is possible to be convicted of a crime that you did not commit and not be called a criminal and as stated by other posters If you don't like the idea of another Shinawatra as PM then LEAVE.

I'm not convinced that's how it would work. Look back at when Future Forward was dissolved. The party name disappeared, was renamed Move Forward BUT none of the elected politicians were banned. Allowing for the same/similar scenario, even if MFP was dissolved all it's elected politicians would retain their seats and just register a new party name. Infact nothing would be achieved by the junta by just dissolving the party, EVERY elected MFP politician would also have to be banned from politics.

The chances of another Shinawatra as PM are slim to none. I live in an area that has been pro PT for as long as red shirts have been in existence, but the thing that is turning those die hard PT supporters away is the fact that PT have 3 nominations for PM, which they are taking as meaning there a 3 different factions within PT that cannot agree 100% on everything. Most of the PT supporters I've met are now going to vote for MFP. They've even gone to the extent of buying and wearing MFP tee shirts.

you've missed the point I was making completely. ALL political parties offer incentives of some sort whether they be cash or some other benefit, to entice people to vote for them. The 10,000 THB is no different, it's an incentive to vote for PT. I suppose the parties offering to increase the daily minimum wage to 600 THB is also undemocratic in your eyes. Just because it's not 10k it's still an incentive to vote for that particular party. It doesn't guarantee that either incentive will become a reality. Your blinkered view of Thai politics, especially PT & Thaksin, leads you to post so many biased comments. Even others have posted about how long it would take for your vitriol to be posted.

that's easy to answer. Where I am, if the money is accepted then the ID card has to be handed over to the candidate or his representative, and they cast the votes on behalf of the people. Similar to those in our village who work voluntarily for the local health authority. They've had to hand their ID cards over and their votes are given to Anutin's lacky. My wife's uncle was told he could not refuse to hand over his ID card and make his own decision as to who he wished to vote for. I'll give the old geezer credit, he told them to go take a running jump and that he would vote for who he wanted to.

the correct health insurance requirement for an O-A extension is a minimum 3,000,000 THB. If I was you I'd double check with them, and take a copy of the police order to show them if they still tell you the old rules. Better to be safe than sorry.

Not just mail from overseas to Thailand. Lodged my tax return in early January, received a text from e-revenue on 19th Jan advising refund cheques was posted on 18th Jan. Cheque has never been received. Went to revenue office on 3rd March advising that cheque had not been received. A stop payment was issued and a request for a replacement cheque was submitted. Received another e-revenue text on 17th March advising replacement cheque was posted on 16th March. Still waiting for it to arrive. Revenue office claims that refunds for foreigners cannot be paid into a bank account as an electronic funds transfer AND they refuse to send cheques by EMS or registered post. So if Revenue Dept have actually sent the cheques, what have Thai Post done with them?

Electric bill usually around 550 baht. This month after having a house full of family visiting and air con being used when we normally only use fans bill was 825 baht. So can't blame it on any price increase, just the increase in usage.
