I usually buy a cheap ticket to Cambodia when leaving NZ as sometimes they wont let you on the plane from NZ without one, if your going for visa on arrival, but I have never been asked for onward ticket at Suvarnabhumi, maybe strike the nice officer ,but now I go through the older persons lane and usually with my son or wife who is Thai and my son speaks fluent Thai and holds a Thai passport. I see falangs buying up large at macro, cooking at home now. Closed my restaurant 6 months ago after many years ,died after covid and Bike delivery. Plus food price hikes, imported food is a joke, government is wiping the floor with taxes on imported food and wine
