  1. Only well-connected people would think they can get away with that. Follow the money!
  2. Transportation would be very different "back home". Here, I ride my bike most of the time to all the nearby places which I visit all the time. And sometimes I use a taxi if I go further away or need to transport anything. Back home, riding motorcycle in the cold and rain is no fun at all. I would need a car. In Thailand I never had a car because I didn't need one. This is definitely a big difference. And here, I live in the middle of the city. Back home, that would be very expensive and/or undesirable.
  3. Maybe that .exe just doesn't do anything. Or when it starts it looks up something, like i.e. the OS version, and when it doesn't find what it expects, it just stops. No .exe has to give any error message; they can just do nothing.
  4. After I tried every KTM shop which I could find in Bangkok, I found a little independent shop. The owner Japanese-Thai, seems to know what he is doing. What I reported above happened in all KTM shops for the last couple of years - after Burn Rubber stopped importing them. I still like my KTM, but the available service is just bad. With the service manual and the list, yes, every authorized shop should have that list, and it's easy to get. But it seems they are used to customers who want it cheap and the stamp for the service and that's it. IMHO buying an expensive bike and then buying cheap oil is just very stupid.
  5. I don't know the details about that bike. But most importantly make sure they use the recommended oil, maybe synthetic oil, see manual. Maybe also print out the details about that 12k service from your manual. Like, what work should be done, fluids changes, etc. Give them the list and tell them you want that all of that is done. And when you get your invoice, and there are not at least a couple of gaskets listed, then you know they probably didn't do what they should have done. I have a KTM Duke 390 and a couple of authorized KTM dealers wanted to use cheap oil for the service. It's difficult to understand how this kind of bad service is accepted by the management.
  6. Israels does whatever they want. Because especially now most leaders of other countries are busy with other things. Who in this world really cares how many Palestinians die? Almost nobody.
  7. Personally, I think it makes a big difference if I have to go to a cashier and pay there, or if there is mostly one waitress responsible for my table. If there is one "personal" waitress, then likely I will tip. If there is just someone on the cash register, and sometimes a tipping-jar is hidden, then I likely won't give them tip.
  8. It seems some Thais try to find work with lots of OT Over Time possibilities. A couple of extra hours every day, extra hours on the weekends. At the end, they still earn little, but at least more as if they would have only the 8-5 job. For people in the service industry, like waiters, tips are a big part of the income. And, at least in the better places, the 10% service charge.
  9. That's definitely the wrong place to gain info and form an opinion ... I forgot; I also watch Hollywood movies. 😉
  10. I have to admit I was never in the USA. But I watch the news...
  11. Really? In most civilized countries, and in many not so civilized countries, it is illegal for most people to run around with guns. If the police spot anybody with a gun, they can approach that person and likely arrest him. And in America? Lots of people run around with guns. It's normal. The police do not arrest those people. So where is a higher chance of guns undetected and used? In the USA? Or in civilized countries.
  12. I don't remember how old I was. But I remember her from Color TV - not black and white anymore. So maybe I was already 8 years old or so.
  13. He is a big supporter of weapons...
  14. Yes, absolutely, I almost forgot about her.
  15. I agree. But then there are the millennials, they are just different. 😉
  16. I fell in love with the Xanadu version of her.
  17. I know a guy who seems to make a science out of the different big shopping places. According to him it is often wrong to say this brand is better or that brand. It seems there are huge differences in each "shop". Some have a good management, and everything is well organized, fresh, etc. And others have a bad management - independent of the brand. Personally, I can confirm this with Villa Market. There are huge differences in the management.
  18. When I wake up, my cute gf is next to me. When I go out of the building, the cute security girl is there. When I go to my favorite breakfast place, they have not only great food, but also a few cute girls. ... You get the picture. Nice girls are not everything in life, but when we see them every day, and they smile at us, that makes life just better.
  19. Kids normally don't care about the sexual activities of adults. Would it have made a difference if you would have known?
  20. Whoever approved the rainbow paintjob should be prosecuted. Basically, every motorcycle rider knows what shiny paint surfaces are dangerous. And I am sure there were enough people involved in this job who ride motorcycle. Fire the woke idiots who love rainbow LBGTQ+/- but don't understand their job.
  21. How about armed red-shirts and MiB in the middle of the city? Or burning down a big part of the inner city? Do those actions also have "detrimental long-term effects on the country"? Never forget!
  22. I never married. I control the money. End of.
  23. The way those senators were "elected", nobody should be surprised about this.
