Should all books be available to kids in school? I think many of us agree that some books are not appropriate or just telling lies, etc. And I guess there always was some control about which books were shown in the library and which not. The question is not so much that some kind of selection should happen. It seems it's more of the question how this selection should happen.

Did you already talk to her? Or do you want to talk to her, but you want to make sure that she is just the perfect girl for you? Why don't you just invite her for a coffee or whatever and talk to her? Maybe she sees you and falls in love with you and she will ban all those other males. But maybe she tells you let's go to your place and I will entertain you and it cost X. And some other options. Don't think too much before you even talked to her.

And if restaurants would do that...

I wonder when they do something similar in Soi Cowboy. There they would have to remove whole terrasses in front of (almost?) every bar if they want to see the official road again.

The default settings are pretty good. If you don't save your data in "exotic" locations, then the search does normally work.

No There are easy understandable reasons why most people use Windows. 1) It's easy to understand and learn and a Windows PC is almost anywhere. 2) If people have any problem they can ask many others (with different knowledge levels) to help them. Maybe parents ask their children. And maybe the children look in a forum or YouTube. This works 99% of the time. What are the alternatives? Apple? With maybe 1/5 of the users of Windows? Or Linux, with 1/30 of the users? Or should we pretend that Linux is easier than Windows and it always works? No!

It depends. I have on a relative new notebook Windows 11 and it works without problem. And I still have on my main desktop PC Windows 10 and it works without problems. And I have no real reason to upgrade the desktop. Until now I don't think there is anything in 11 which I miss.

And obviously no annoying children.

In general it is not a good idea to uninstall anything that comes with Windows even if you don't need it. People who test functions have seldom PCs with things "missing". Obviously search should work without OneDrive, but maybe nobody tested it, and maybe it is just not important enough for Microsoft to fix such a problem. If you don't use OneDrive you won't have any advantages if you remove it. It uses almost no resources. Just don't use it if you don't want to use it.

Thaksin is a wanted criminal. Is that so difficult for you to understand? And if the police try to arrest a criminal and the criminal runs away then police have the right to shoot him, after they warn him. And let's not forget that Thaksin basically ordered the killing of thousands of drug suspects - without any evidence and no judge. So he should be able to understand the concept of targeting criminals. But of course he thinks he is different.

Thanks The blue caps are only temporarily. Soon we will put the stop vales in those positions. At least one of those stop vales will not be used in the moment. To be sure that is not opened by accident I will cover it with a cap. This will be cold water so I guess I would use anything but staying with the theme I guess I will use a green one.

I definitely have them in mind because they are in our building. With furniture I guess it is almost impossible to avoid wood. But with the internal work like floor skirting etc. I made sure there is as little wood as possible. Let's see in a year or two or three...

I don't know how many agents do what. There are certainly a number of agents who work for (many) companies with business visas for several employees, etc. We use someone like that in Bangkok. Not, because our documents are incomplete but because it is convenient. I am sure agents like that also exist in Pattaya.

I am about to finish the renovation of my condominium. I plan to live there for many years. I bought already some extra floor tiles and extra bathroom tiles to be sure I have exactly the same in case something will break sometime in the next years. What did you do? Did you buy more of everything? Did you ever use it? Or does it just use some space and it will never be used? Or do you wish you would have bought something extra because now you can't get exactly the same of [insert what is missing]?

Only a real expert will be able to help you. Lucky for you it is easy to recognize them.

I read in another article that Jatuporn finally understands that Thaksin's actions are not about democracy but only about Thaksin. Obviously it is sad that Jatuporn needed years to understand this. But at least finally he understands it. Bravo. I never thought I would agree with Jatuporn. It seems there is still a little hope.

Maybe I will install my water heater myself, or maybe I will ask a contractor to do that. In any case I like to know the differences in materials. My Stiebel Eltron Water heater has plastic pipe connections. I my wall are new installed green water pipes with (I guess) brass threads. The stop valves are chrome-plated brass. I want to use some end caps to close valves which are currently not needed. It seems there are plastic caps in blue or green plastic. And then there are brass caps. Does it matter which material is used? Is one material better than the others? Or are some materials used for this and others for that? And is it a good idea to use a plastic cap on a brass thread? Or should it be always the same material? Here are some pictures of my installation. The green pipes from the walls with and without cap. And the stop vales which I use. And sample for the plastic or brass caps. And yes, I am aware there are different sizes. Thanks

I don't read the small print. I also don't go to a pharmacy and just buy medicine. I (try to) see a decent doctor and I ask him for the diagnosis and what the medicine which he gives me should do. I hope the doctor knows what he is doing, and he knows alternative medication and he hopefully suggests what makes sense for me. I work with computers and sometimes it's funny to talk with people who did their research - at least they think they did that. They read or hear somewhere that this and that is good or bad. But most of them have not much idea about the big picture. And we can't all know everything. Sometime we need to trust the so-called experts.

I think we should be fair and acknowledge that there are also women who don't look for a guy with money. Some have good jobs and don't need more money. Some just don't care about money and luxury. Some just hate the idea to be in a relationship with unequal recourses. I think the situation in Thailand is like it is because there are huge differences in income and wealth. In "the west" women can get a good education, work hard in a good job, have a career and make a lot of money. In Thailand not so much. There are enough women in Thailand who studied and have a university degree and a job in a decent company, and they still don't make much money. And that is just for themselves. If they then think about how much it would cost to have children and send them to a decent school, it is almost impossible for a person with poor background to do that.
