See how modern Thailand has become? No more grubby bank notes at the polling booth. Nowadays it's a Digital Wallet. Plus 4km spending radius from your registered address will keep the money in the local economy. Are there any limits on what it can or can't be spent on? Such as alcohol, cigarettes or lottery tickets.

20m x 14m is 280 sqm. Around 3000 sq. ft. Plenty of room for 3 bed 2 bath. But I suppose it also depends on how much external terrace or verandah you want to include in those dimensions. If you intend to copy the blue house, which looks like it has bedrooms upstairs, then you should have plenty of room.

Is a stablecoin a suitable way to get cash out of Thailand ?

As others have said. Have a look at Dee Money. Maybe send some home, and carry some home. You could carry more than 10,000 Euros. As long as you have proof of Swift transfers you could just declare it. -
I have been storing a friend's scooter since pre-Covid, so I looked into this. If not taxed for more than three years, I believe you will have to re-register the bike, so you will need to take the green book along to the DMV. I think the fine for not taxing is really small.

If you look on the beck of your card, you should find a +44 number for calling from abroad. It might be in very text, but is usually on the reverse, somewhere below the signature strip. When calling, bear in mind UK working hours. Better chance of getting through early their time. Don't know if you are aware, but there is a Lloyds Banking app for your phone. It has facilities for transactions, managing your card, such as freezing it, or changing your PIN, report lost or stolen. Also managing a transaction and other support or contacting support. HTH

10,000-Baht Digital Wallet For Each Thai Pledged In Pheu Thai Campaign
phetphet replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Where will they get this digital wallet? From an app store? Only online? Will it be free to download? How will shops be able to accept this digital money and convert into real money? Will they need to register? Will they have to have special terminals installed? Will they charge a %age for the service? How will they prevent someone spending it more than 4Kms from their registered house? -

Australian Resort Boss Murdered While at Work in Krabi
phetphet replied to webfact's topic in Krabi News
Has nothing, but looks like she has got out of paying her debt. Having built up a debt of THB9000, which must be a few weeks wages, it sounds like the wife thought she could shake the money tree again. When the boss refused, she went crying to hubby. So he goes and stabs someone to death. 24 y.o. waster. -
Go into a shop that sells that particular phone. The staff are always helping customers with their phones, so probably know their way around the settings. If its just a message setting, it shouldn't be too difficult to fix. Hopefully not a fault with the phone itself. Just don't let it out of your sight. Have to be careful nowadays.
