Khao San Road in a Frenzy as Authorities Crack Down on Laughing Gas
Kinnock replied to webfact's topic in Bangkok News
Has to be the least anti-social recreational drug used in clubs. Nowhere near as annoying as tobacco or vapes, and I guess less addictive than hard drugs. Cheaper too. And the people I saw inhaling the balloons in Khao San clubs last month didn't seem to exhibit any noticeable effects at all ..... it's probably a milder 'drug' than than the alcohol I was consuming. -
Thai leaders dodge meeting with UN human rights commissioner
Kinnock replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
You sure about that? The UN is a powerless waste of money crippled by bureaucracy corruption. Just ignore it, and it will go away .... as Russia and China have known for years.- 23 replies

Good question .... it looks like it's not a safety issue, it's because they think it's too late to bother with the vaccine ..... CDC Advice: HPV vaccination is not recommended for everyone older than age 26 years. Some adults ages 27 through 45 years who were not already vaccinated might choose to get HPV vaccine after speaking with their doctor about their risk for new HPV infections and possible benefits of vaccination for them. A clinic website added this ... "There’s not a safety issue past age 45. We just aren’t sure how much the vaccine will help men and women who are past that age, because so many of us have acquired HPV by that point, and because it takes many years for cancer to develop after acquiring the virus". But let's say you were in a monogamous relationship in your home country and managed to avoid HPV, then got divorced and moved to Thailand to make up for lost time. What they are saying is HPV related cancer takes so long to develop you'll be dead before you notice it ...... but what about your younger partners? Methinks the Professors have never been to Pattaya. 😀

Sometimes the best sex we have is after an argument. The chase, the fake resistance, the giggling submission 😋 But unplanned sessions require natural stiffness .... and so Kamagra is reserved for date nights. Is the street vendor Kamagra gel in the flat packs fake or real? I assumed it's so cheap from India it's not worth faking? It seems to do the trick too.

Slight fever after first injection, no side effects at all for the next two injections. -
British mum’s dengue fever warning after son’s Thai holiday tragedy
Kinnock replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
My wife had Dengue a few years ago, so she had the vaccine (three injections and quite expensive) .... I've not had Dengue so was told I could not be vaccinated. -
Thai Activist Seeks Court Halt on Sale of Decade-Old Rice
Kinnock replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
I hope they tested it for mycotoxins. Aflatoxin is a known issue with rice stored in the Tropics. There's a big risk that the 'Thai Rice' stickers on exported rice will now be seen as a warning sticker ...... like Japanese fish. -
I work for a food industry consultancy and we're currently involved in a project involving rice farming. We have a remote monitoring process that involves taking details supplied by the farmers and compiling them into a spreadsheet. So we're looking for a Thai national with some knowledge of farming plus experience of using MS Excel and the Line App. Some English language capability would also be good. I was thinking that a wife, son or daughter of one of the farmers in this forum would have all the required experience. It's a work from home role, part time. We'll be running some recuitment ads soon, but thought someone in this forum may have a family member who'd be interested? Send a PM if potentially interested.

Most programs need to make small changes to your computer - to access files or hardware like the speakers, and some may change other settings to enable them to run properly. The Windows system is just checking you are OK with this. So if you trust the source of the new program, click yes.

What does the average British expat think of Tommy?
Kinnock replied to Kinok Farang's topic in ASEAN NOW Community Pub
Not a fan of extremism in politics or religion. But if a left wing or Islamic activist was equally extreme and anti-social, they'd be no criminal prosecutions and little negative spin in the media.- 413 replies

Motorbike Ban in Pattaya Underpass Sparks Heated Debate
Kinnock replied to webfact's topic in Pattaya News
A good Thai phrase is "Pak chee roi naa" (Parsley used as decoration on top of rice .... or window dressing). A pointless activity intended to make it look like you are doing something of value. -
Putin is doing a Kim Jong Un. He has to keep threatening nuclear armageddon to try to discourage the West from supporting Ukraine.

Calling all you car experts out there
Kinnock replied to piston broke's topic in Thailand Motor Discussion
Honestly, neither of those. Fiesta had auto gearbox issues and as mentioned above, early MG's had variable quality. You also want something that has good parts availability and can be serviced locally. Ford no longer sell saloon cars in Thailand and there's fewer MG dealers and local service garages familiar with the models than, say, a Toyota. A Yaris or Honda Jazz is a better bet. Also, the Suzuki Swift is a reliable option. -
Russia, China, North Korea, Iran, Belarus and Scotland will declare war on the rest of the world. Thailand will stay on the fence - trying to be a Tropical Switzerland. Then in all the chaos of war, China will invade Thailand through Myanmar and use the opportunity to complete the high speed railroad and the Rama II motorway. The mothballed aircraft carrier and engine-less sub will not even leave port, and the army will not resist on the condition they can take over all the police casinos. About 3 days into the war the French will surrender and Hungary will join with Russia. Around one week in - the West will run out of money and anti-war protesters will be used as an excuse for peace talks. The West will give up Ukraine and Taiwan .... and Thailand, Myanmar and Lao will remain under Chinese rule. The Chinese will relocate millions of Han Chinese into SE Asia to make it like the rest of China. Did I miss anything?

Why so many Effeminate Men in Thailand
Kinnock replied to Angus55's topic in ASEAN NOW Community Pub
There was a study published a few years ago (was reported on "Thaivisa") about comparative Testosterone levels in men from different countries. If I remember correctly, African countries were the highest, followed by Southern European, then Northern Europe, then Korea and Japan. Thailand was near the lowest. Factor in a culture that accepts people as they are (no need to hide your sexual orientation like you need to in Korea, Alabama or Wigan), and you get the full spectrum on show.- 50 replies

They closed Bangsaen Beach for months. The one place where people from Bangkok could get out of their overcrowded, three generation condos and safely walk in the fresh air .... and the roped it off.
