  1. Get the job and the Non-B that goes with it (you can always quit later) or find your master's course abroad and leave. Why look for problems?
  2. and her twitter post: "Yall know him? 21:00 At khaosan road these 2 guys came up to my friend & one of them groped her butt. Instead of being guilty he was giggling and She then proceed to give him a couple punches. The other bald guy was trying stop me from filming, they walked away" ! story for the police and 1 story for the "Outraged Netizens" Seems there was an assault, just not the 1 reported.
  3. All you need is a smart tv, REALLY good internet (at least 500mg down speed) an HDMI cable and a good CPU. Use the smart tv to search for available streaming services and the CPU to search for good tv sites (like referenced above) and you can watch anything you like for not much money (mostly the internet and original outlay for the tv and cpu). You can even use this setup to make free video calls home. AND, if the tv supports picture in picture, you can video call your friends back home while watching your sports. Only other things you'd need are a GREAT recliner and a fridge full of beer. ps. wireless mouse and keyboard so you can search from the recliner.
  4. a mouse with no balls gets tired quickly on the wheel.
  5. Quite a few gun shots into the crowd would have netted better results - sick in the head - roll the army in and send them to reeducation camps like they did the leaders of the red/yellow riots.
  6. Some of you touched on the (probable) reason for expanded searches for sex: Covid. The lock down blocked most access to Mia Nois, Giks and gfs and left everyone stranded at home with the old wifey and the kids. At the beginning time frame (Nov '22) we were still in lock down without a foreseeable end in sight and coordinating live video chat with open bathroom times wasn't as easy as having said "side women" making and posting videos for their guys. Why do you think there was such a notable run on toilet paper sales above all else? You didn't really think being locked down was causing a massive increase in the need to poop did you? I'd bet a rerun of the same study from Dec '23 to Dec '24 would show a slowing trend in searching those same sites.
  7. ?!?!?! Really?!?! GEEZ, and I thought I was young groping my first boobie at 12
  8. I blame the security guard. If he had told them "No, you can't sit here. It's private property." then the whole thing would have never happened.
  9. No, that's at a family reunion.
  10. Get the single entry Non-O every year then get a multiple reentry permit (basically the same thing and price) As for the TM-30, check this thread
  11. hope you like seafood.
  12. If you're coming to Pattaya for fighting just wander around beach rd and walking street with your best gold chains on. There'll be a gang of ladyboys every few 100 meters to fight with. Wear your Gee so you can claim it was all just for sport.
  13. Probably by kicking your a$$ - quite embarrassing if the IO is female.
  14. use LINE on your regular phone - it's free.
  15. My wife sets it to where she's comfortable and I pay the bill and don't have wife issues all day.
  16. not until they finish spending millions on property purchases. then they'll kick them all out and reclaim and resell the property to a new bunch.
  17. people on extended vacation using the ED Visa are not tourists, don't stay in upscale hotels, don't buy souvenirs and don't eat at upscale restaurants every day.
  18. If you move the end of March you'd still owe 5 months rent to complete the contract anyway which would be an automatic forfeiture of the deposit. By staying past the end of August '23 you basically renewed the contract until August '24. IF she pursues you in court you would end up paying the remaining 50k plus lose the deposit and MAY have to pay legal costs and court fees. Best case scenario, she doesn't want the hassle and you run away like a thief in the night OR you put up with the new commute for 5 more months giving 30 days notice at the end of July '24.
  19. Why? Because this is Thailand, the land of harsh punishment for perceived loss of face. If they even THINK you got over on them they will go to h*ll and back to make you pay. Hate the message, not the messenger.
  20. Agree with the above posts. A border bounce following a 1 time Ed Visa makes them think you scammed them.
  21. try this: https://consnewyork.esteri.it/en/servizi-consolari-e-visti/servizi-per-il-cittadino-italiano/anagrafe-degli-italiani-residenti-allestero-aire/
  22. Is it really any more pathetic than a guy who spends his days searching youtube looking for people more pathetic than you are?
  23. do you want to rent it to vacationers or long term people? a sign on the front gate will get the locals talking to locals.
  24. If you go to court as a foreigner vs a Thai the judge will ask you if the property was in this condition when you moved in. If you say "Yes" he will call you an idiot and tell you to pay the contract in full and suggest you move. If you say "No" he will tell you to pay for repairing the damage you've done and pay your contract in full.
  25. DOCUMENTS REQUIRED WHEN APPLYING FOR A THAILAND NON-IMMIGRANT B VISA (Teaching) Passport or travel document with validity not less than six months Completed Visa application form Recent (4 x 6 cm.) photograph of the applicant Letter of acceptance from employing institute or school in Thailand. A Letter of approval from the relevant government agencies: Office of the Private Education Commission Office of the Basic Education Commission Degree & Transcript or diplomas/certificates School license Some embassies/consulates require a Police certificate verifying that the applicant has no criminal record issued by authorized agencies in the applicant's country. Note: *This list is not comprehensive; the document process is complicated. Embassy & Consular Officers always reserve the right to request additional documents when they deem it necessary, & Immigration Officers reserve the right to refuse the issuance of a visa. Note: *It takes about 7-14 days to process the documents for the Non-B Visa. Once the documents have been processed, a teacher can go on a visa run to apply for the Non-B visa from a consulate in a neighbouring country. Note: Non-formal schools have different requirements to teach English in Thailand than the ones listed above. The requirements above are for formal Thai schools. And then: THAILAND VISA EXTENSIONS Non-Immigrant B visas are extendable for a period not exceeding one year with the correct documents. In general, for extensions of Non-Immigrant B visas, the Immigration Office in the province where you reside is responsible. Note: *An extension for a Non-B visa cannot be applied until the teacher's license and work permits are acquired. The application for a Non-Immigrant B visa extension is only possible in person, and a representative from the school/company must accompany you. Also, a Non-B visa can only be done during the last 30 days of the initial 90-day visa. Also: THAILAND TEACHER’S LICENSE A Teacher's License is required to teach in a Thai school, except for universities and private language schools. A teaching license is a 5-year license that looks much like a driving license. The TCT, a Thai Government Department (Thailand Teachers Council), is responsible for issuing the Teacher's License. A full five-year teacher's license is only issued if you have a degree in education or a PGCE or Teacher's License from your home country. You must also complete a Thai culture course administered by an accredited provider before the TCT will issue you a teacher's license. If your Bachelor's degree is not in education, then a 2-year temporary permission/waiver can be issued by the TCT. The license renewal will be every two years if you don’t move schools. Applicants who wish to apply for the two-year waiver to teach without a full license must have a degree from a recognized university. The degree can be in any subject and does not have to have any relation to education whatsoever. In Thailand, if you are not a holder of a passport from the UK, USA, Australia, Canada, or New Zealand, you will be required to take a TOEIC test. The TOEIC Test Score is needed to demonstrate your English Proficiency level. The TOEIC Test can be taken at centres across 160 countries, including Thailand. Go to kidsenglishthailand.org/blog//toeic-test-thailand to read more about the TOEIC Test in Thailand. Note: *Your school/recruiter should make the application to the TCT, and you should only be asked to provide and sign documents. The application cannot be submitted until the teacher has the initial 90-day Non-Immigrant B visa. THAILAND WORK PERMIT A work permit allows a non-Thai citizen to work in Thailand as a skilled professional. A work permit is required to teach abroad and be able to work legally in the Kingdom of Thailand. Once the work permit is received, the individual must work only with the company named in the work permit. The duration of a work permit typically matches the term of your contract. Note: *A work permit cannot be applied for until a teacher has the initial 90-day Non-Immigrant B visa and the teacher's license or TCT waiver has been granted. https://kidsenglishthailand.org/blog/understanding-thai-visa-categories-employment-document-process Enjoy. There will be someone along soon to help you circumvent doing it correctly I'm sure.
