    I don't know why anyone leaves 800,000 Baht in a Thai bank account in a Banana Republic like Thailand, who time after time have Military Academy educated unelected soldiers attempting to run the country, a country which has reduced it's financial responsibility from 5 million Bt to 1 million Bt. There must have been a reason for doing that.

    Yes, that's right, it takes me to the top of all the posts. I can use the emoticans by scrolling down further as you say, but I would like to rid of it altogether.

    Using AseanNow on desktop, don't have that problem on laptop. Yes I know that is the arrow to go to the top of the page. But I want rid of it.

    So if I draw say 300,000Bt as I intend to do the next time I should take it from the ATM instead of over the counter?

    About one and a half ins from the right hand corner of the bottom of my screen is an arrow in a small white circle in the middle of a dark coloured half inch x half inch square box. When I click on it, it takes me to the top of my screen. Anyone know how I can get rid of this? It is a nuisance when I click on to an emotican.

    I can't remember exactly, but it was something like 280Bt for withdrawing 180,000Bt.

    I bought two ingots at the branch I told you about at Soi 10 in lower Sukhumvit Road and they said cash only. Well this is Thailand where different Banks, IO offices etc all have their own rules, now it seems so do gold shops. I am going back next month to buy more ingots, thanks a lot for your help.

    Never mind the army, carry on with the protest. The majority of soldiers are decent people from decent families. But I appreciate that when you mention the Thai army and pressure, that would be the generals and the decent soldiers may not be able to do much about that.

    I was in Villa Market in Second Road Pattaya yesterday. There was only one other farang customer in the time I was there. the staff far outnumbered us. Their prices were app 30-50% dearer than Lazada, ie for Bisto gravy and tins of corn beef amongst others. Why they are still in business I do not know, the prices were that bad I left without buying anything.
