  1. I won't answer this as I do not want to offend anyone.
  2. That is very interesting, I will look it up. Thanks.
  3. The problem, and it was a big problem at one time in the UK, was teachers telling their pupils that homosexuality was normal, that was very wrong.
  4. There were no homosexual scenes in Are You Being Served, I take it you mean Mr Humpfries. "I'm free". So he behaved in an effeminate manner, I found that very entertaining and funny.
  5. Actually you are right it is an exaggeration, I understand only about one in twenty guys are homosexual. In the very odd time I see two of them together in a scene in a TV series I just turn away, it happens so rarely it is not a problem for me.
  6. If you feel that way, why do you use the word gay? You know what the proper word is.
  7. That would not make sense I have used my Bangkok Bank debit card for years with Lazada and there is always much more than enough to cover what I buy from them.
  8. I have ordered an item from Lazada about 3 hours ago, after going through the normal procedure and paid my usual way by debit card which I have done for years, I was told that my order is being processed. There are numbers counting down to this process nonsense. Anyone ever had this? Why should they want to process anything? I have never had any problems with payments in the many years I have dealt with them.
  9. The worst thing is that the majority of Thai drivers lack common sense, and that is more important than any education or training where driving is concerned.
  10. It all depends on the condition of the slower lane or the hard shoulder, The first lane is often damaged by overladen lorries.
  11. All that matters is how much the hospital managers get to fill their pockets.
  12. I wonder just how many of these hospital managers became very rich during the Chinese virus.
  13. Spot on. First class insurance also includes medical treatment.
  14. I didn't know that, that gives me a bit of security when I am on my motorbike. I have always hated the thought of being in an accident and being refused any treatment. Does that apply to both private and government hospitals? May I point out that I always had first class insurance on my motorbike but it was stopped after the bike was 6 years old, it is hard to get insurance on an eight year old bike, but I have applied again and am just waiting for approval.
  15. Since when did any authorities in Thailand bother about laws? Unless of course there is money involved somewhere.
  16. I went into AIS on Monday to see about a problem with my phone, I had to go back the following day because the problem was not fixed at all. Looking for the girl who served me I had no chance. All the girls were wearing the same clothes, had long black hair and were wearing masks.
  17. You mention running red lights. I am not condoning this, but the reason so many Thai drivers run red lights is the settings of the lights means a very long wait. ie I was sitting on a red light at a very busy crossroads, the road approaching from my right was on a green light, but there were no traffic on it while the other three roads approaching the crossroads had a long line of traffic waiting for the green light.
  18. This is where the common sense bit comes in, he obviously does not have any.
  19. "The 5 pillars of road safety are", There is a 6th one, probably the most important. Common Sense. Very little of that among most Thai's with their average IQ of 80% plus.
  20. How heavy is the traffic in Nakhon Nowhere?
  21. When Thai roads are repaired with patches of tar it is always left uneven and that when you ride your motorbike over it you can feel the bumps, I just accepted that as "TiT". Recently I rode the 12 Highway from Phitsanulok to Petchabun, there are many patches, but the job is done properly and when you ride over them you cannot feel the difference. The road markings and signs are all perfect unlike on my trip to Kanchanaburi last week.
  22. So Britain has as many sh!t drivers as Thailand?? Did I read your post properly.
  23. Not anywhere near what it is in Thailand.
  24. Check the road accident fatalities of the UK against Thailand taking into account they both have similar populations. I rest my case.
