It was a long two hours, as the priest heard no confessions, and was about to close up the church and go back to the rectory. Our Sofar inverters when export is disabled usually read a small power in either direction, it's just the nature of the beast. Until we actually know whether it's supposed to be exporting we can't really answer whether it's worth it or not. Have you been able to check the inverter settings? If you are definitely using all the power you are making during the day then obviously it matters not, but you should be making rather more then you are saying, even in the "winter". Yesterday, our 10.6kWP system generated 30kWh, I would imagine your system that's about 1/3 the size would be in the order of 10kWh.

OK, if you have export enabled your meter should run backwards when exporting. As noted by others, the easy way to check is to turn off all the loads in the house at lunch-time on a sunny day and observe the meter. IMPORTANT NOTE: - Doing this is definitely not permitted so ensure you are not exporting when the meter reader comes and also ensure that you never end up with an overall net-export (meter reading lower than the last one). Many small systems do this, it's absolutely guaranteed that PEA are aware of these systems and tolerate the unofficial net-metering. If your inverter is a clone/badge-engineered Sofar then enabling/disabling export may be as easy as simply disconnecting the current transformer (CT) with export disabled, the inverter will then export any available energy.

No inverter manual??? You should be able to download it from the PSI website, with luck. The PEA App, keeps basic historical data for >6 months, but 6 months that data will be on your bill anyway.

Surely the app shows more info than the basic screenshot we are seeing? Even the basic Sofar app has graphing and historical data. Also, @LoeiI can you check the setting of the inverter "no-export" control (Sofar call it anti-reflux), do you have an electronic or spinning disc meter?? I also suspect that the display of "Kw" (note the incorrect case) on the app actually means "kWh" there's no way that system can be generating an instantaneous power of 6.9kW! I had a procedure at our local private hospital. Pre-paid 50k with my credit card as requested. Come time to escape (next day) I had to wait 3 hours for the accounts lady because there was a refund due. "Can you not refund to my card" says I, "no we only refund by cheque, we will let you know when the cheque is available". I forgot all about it, they probably did call but ... About 6 months later I spotted an unexpected credit to my Thai bank account by cheque, I assume the hospital had finally got fed up with waiting for me and paid in the 300 baht I was owed

For a DIYer I would stay well away from anything using 220V mains, particularly where water is involved! As noted above 24VAC seems popular amongst the irrigation people and it's unlikely to kill anyone.

Just for comparison, our 10.6kWP (so about 3x what we guess our OP has) grid-tie hybrid produced 883kWh in November and 838kWh in December. So, I would expect 294 and 279 kWh respectively from our OP's system. We really need to know what our OP actually has, does he have "no export" enabled, what are his energy usage patterns (if not exporting and not using much during the day then a lot of potential energy is going to waste).

Any reason not to use a multi-outlet car charger in the "lighter" socket?

200 Baht, 20 Baht? Pffft!! Our office charges 2 Baht! Is it even worth their collecting it I wonder. And yes, you will need a new one every year, I usually go the day before we intend going to immigration.
