  3. The oldies are the goodies A guy brings his dog into a talent agency, and tells the agent that his dog can talk. He turns and ask the dog “what's over our head? The dog says “roof.” He tells the agent “See? He said roof. He asks the dog “what's my name?” The dog says “raff.” The guy tells the agent “See? He said Ralph.” He asks the dog “who is the greatest baseball player?” The dog says “roof.” The guy tells the agent “See he said Ruth.” The agent throws them out on their ears. Out on the street the dog asks the guy “do you think I should have said DiMaggio?”
  4. I saw a fortune teller the other day. She told me I would come into some money. Last night I shagged a girl named Penny. Is that spooky or what??
  5. OK people. I started this thread as something for us here in the forum to smile at. Sadly, it's turned into a slanging match. So.
  6. Mother Superior was very strict and could get very angry, so the two nuns who approached her after Vespers were almost shaking with fear. They stood in front of her barely able to speak, but one of them blurted out, “Mother Superior! We’ve discovered a case of gonorrhoea in the convent!” Mother Superior instantly relaxed and smiled a huge smile. “Thank God,” she said, “I was getting so tired of the Chablis!”
  7. Two electric vehicle (EV) models powered by sodium-ion batteries have rolled off the production line in China, signaling that the new, lower-cost batteries are closer to being used on a large scale. https://batteriesnews.com/two-ev-models-powered-by-sodium-ion-batteries-roll-off-line-in-china/
  8. Not necessarily. Ideally, remove the tank and then pump it to the recommended pressure (should be indicated on the label), that should remove one of the variables. The tank shouldn't need to be regularly pumped up, that it needs it is an indication there's something amiss.
  9. Looks like about 2.8kWP and a 3kW inverter from the photos, so around 10kWh generation per day.
  10. Seems to have been a mid-air!! https://www.pprune.org/accidents-close-calls/656665-jal-incident-haneda-airport-3.html All out safely, one can hope!
  11. At 15 Baht a pop it's going to take BMA a while to pay off the 40 billion they currently owe BTSC!!
  12. A group of children at infant school were trying very hard to become accustomed to the first day. The biggest hurdle they faced was that the teacher insisted on NO baby talk! "You need to use 'Grown-Up' words," she was always reminding them. She asked John what he had done over the weekend. "I went to visit my Nana." "No, you went to visit your GRANDMOTHER. Use 'Grown-Up' words!" She then asked Gemma what she had done. "I took a ride on a choo-choo." She said "No, you took a ride on a TRAIN. You must remember to use 'Grown-Up' words." She then asked little Paddy what he had done. "I read a book," he replied. "That's WONDERFUL!" the teacher said. "What book did you read?" Paddy thought really hard about it, then puffed out his chest with great pride, and said, "Winnie the S**T."........
  13. I hope that's not the shower curtain in your first photo Actually, a Goth shower could be interesting ...
  14. At least one of my Japanese friends/colleagues has gone offline.
  15. "Ft" is the "Fuel Tariff" which is a per-unit charge which is the easy way that the authorities use to change the rate without an act of parliament. The actual per-unit rate varies with usage as you can see from @Gweiloman link. You can use this calculator to take the mystery out of things https://eservice.pea.co.th/estimatebill/# If you are not on the government "my solar roof" system you will be spinning a conventional disc meter backwards if your generation exceeds local usage, this is not permitted so don't let the meter reader see it. Without knowing exactly what your solar system consists of it's hard to be more help.
  16. Good point from @OneMoreFarang Is the pressure OK when the pumps start? I wonder if the pressure tank has lost its pressure / become waterlogged?
  17. A husband and wife who work for a circus went to an agency to adopt a child, but social workers raised doubts about their suitability: So, the couple produced photos of their motor home, which was clean and well maintained and equipped with a beautiful nursery. The social workers were satisfied, but then raised concerns about the kind of education a child would receive while in the couple's care. The husband put their mind at ease, saying "We have arranged for a full-time tutor who will teach the child all the usual subjects along with French, Mandarin, and computer skills." Next the social workers expressed concerns about a child being raised in a circus environment. The wife explained "Our nanny is a qualified expert in pediatric care, welfare and diet." The social workers were finally satisfied and asked "What age child are you hoping to adopt?" The husband said "It doesn't really matter, as long as the kid fits in the cannon."
  18. BYD Electric cars will overtake Tesla in 2024 - Not if the Tesla is "Ludicrous Mode"
  19. Happy New Year everyone. The numbers for December, another 4,600Baht that PEA didn't get I also did a month-by month plot comparing 2023 with 2022. Overall total pretty similar but some interesting variations (note that the vertical scale starts at 600 kWh so variations are exaggerated).
