BKK Bank Anti American

Let's shuffle this over to Banking 🙂 -
Orange plates make it an agricultural vehicle. Probably time to visit your local DLT to see what restrictions are in place regarding foreigners obtaining a licence to drive the beast. Or, as you say, just wing it. And where's the "jealous" emoticon? EDIT Response from a knowledgeable friend "I would say as long as he has cash on him then fine"

With the current weather, maybe this could see a revival.

How about a solar car port on a budget?
Crossy replied to Crossy's topic in Alternative/Renewable Energy Forum
Patience is rewarded, Lazada have two 15% "6-6" discount vouchers (having two is unusual). So, I bought two Deye 5kW inverters (two separate orders, 1 voucher used on each), one order got an extra 50Baht off for using my UOB card 🙂 12k will get quite a lot of beer -

@FruitPudding another old thread (9 years this time).

Yeah, leaving the existing also means that doors will need fettling and the floors in adjoining rooms won't be at the same level, I can trip over a 1/4" step with no issues whatever.

British mum’s dengue fever warning after son’s Thai holiday tragedy
Crossy replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
It's mostly the same stuff, partially burned diesel. Now there's an idea, add mozzie-cide to all bus and truck diesel, automatic and free distribution. No more mozzies (or much else for that matter). What's the number of the Thai patent office?? Note to the Thai authorities - The above is a jest/joke/humour it is not a serious suggestion! -

I had dengue in Delhi, exactly the same symptoms, so I suppose that's confirmation. Apparently, that's the "mild" version, I really wouldn't want to get the more serious variants. -
This ^^^. You think too mutt I'm afraid (and both your attorney and accountant are rubbing their hands waiting to receive their $$$ fees). Unless of course you are directly hiring the labour (here be dragons!) who won't be filing tax returns anyway. When we built our place, I simply transferred the $$$ to our contractor for each stage payment. QED.

I will say that our Hiking (Tomzn) electronic meter does agree with the PEA meter within 1% which is certainly good enough for my requirements.

Moved to the Pattaya forum for more directed responses.

Until you have a fee-in agreement in place you won't be credited for any export. We have had reports of some electronic meters totting up grid export on the total and PEA billing for it!! If you can I would disable export on your solar (you're not getting credit for it anyway). There's actually a similar report on a US-centric solar forum of electronic meters charging for export. How long you have to wait for your export meter varies, there are members who have been waiting YEARS!!! I hope your installer used approved equipment https://aseannow.com/topic/1328300-approved-inverter-lists

Do you have grid-tie solar perchance?? We have had reports of some electronic meters totting up grid export on the total and PEA billing for it!! My Girlfriend Fell for the Land Scam
Crossy replied to Chris Daley's topic in Real Estate, Housing, House and Land Ownership
And in this case the chick wasn't free either 😞 People, supposedly intelligent people, still fall for the Nigerian Prince/General/Bank president who wants to give you <insert large sum here>, you just have to pay bank fees up front -
Fan stopped working, can I buy a new capacitor
Crossy replied to steven100's topic in The Electrical Forum
What's a "growler", we have two "Yappers" but when they "growl" it's almost comical 🙂 EDIT Wiki answered my question https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Growler_(electrical_device) Never come across one, but I've never been into motors either. -
I would use a long traily lead as your reference, then you can determine if each wire is ok (do check for shorts to other wires). Without seeing the system in the flesh it's awfully difficult to diagnose, ignore wire colours other than for finding the same wire at the other end, they mean nothing as to function. Your unknown white, could be a neutral feed to "something". First check the continuity between the light fitting and the known "other end" of each wire. Start at the light that works and work along the circuit until you find the break(s).
