    Initial thoughts, yes, but a lot (most?) of those soldiers do not want it. No Choice. We all know who is at fault... bstards in suits (not just Putin) nowhere near the front line. Hoping there's another life so I can get to the priick and flog him repeatedly for all eternity!

    Never had an issue coming in, dozens of times. Those lines do suck though... worth having a kid just to go through the Thai lane lol.

    It is a real sovereign state and has all the right to be one, not wanting to be a part of that bogus rancid regime. Countries don't formally recognise it as such because they are worried about upsetting childish China and the subsequent loss of trade. They go into Taiwan they will be hit with massive sanctions which would totally shaft their economy and they would rightly revert to developing third world status.

    Yep and well put. Doesn't matter one's culture and perceived happiness index, we are all still burdened with a hooman brain which can easily be a monster for anyone when unfocused and unchecked. On the other hand, the Thai propensity for living for the now is very refreshing and having spent time with humble rubber farmers, they are among the most chilled and genuine folk I have encountered.

    Cheap as chips still compared with a real beer here (pint of rubbish Guinness being £7-8) and many places around the world. And that is near the Smoke where folk are earning big. Can still get a pint for couple quid from whence I hail.

    He is very green. How old? In this country at least, most of them on view to average farang choose that lifestyle... minimal skill and effort required + quick money. Switch off and lay down with wife-beater-wearing large man for 15 minutes = one week factory work pay.

    TL;DR. Unless you're minted, connected and well attired (don't necessarily need to speak Thai), do not set your bar so lofty. Hi-so here is not the same as upper middle class in the West, where being tall & fit, nicely clothed and amusing can see you right. Also, from a Thai female's POV, being with a farang unfortunately comes with stigma.

    Eh? Valid comment calling out a semi-inflammatory post. Perhaps have a reread. Not a pothead by any stretch but reckon people should have a choice on this relatively benign substance. Regards helping poor people, clearly they can make money by growing and selling. Kudos to Anutin. Good to see him get summat right.

    As long as giving up those things you like doesn’t make you miserable. And don’t not do something because of someone else’s view. Right food, right mind, exercise. Sugar is crapp and there’s a lot to be said for intermittent fasting.

    Anything that lot do nowadays is with agenda and is so timidly wokeist and politically correct that it will likely be hard to watch for those with a sense of humour hankering for the originals… + Cleese obviously won’t have same energy levels. Hope I’m wrong and it works, but if they were to go back-in-the-day full on, the easily offended will be up in arms.

    Can’t believe this. Couple weeks ago they were testing 50%+ off of flights from PRC. I suppose in the interim most have passed it on and are no longer infected. ????
