  1. Have been trying to find out their promotiond fo this month ... they are not answering their phone and their FB ipage has not been updated for nearly a year. Anyone any updates please.
  2. We bought an Everest 3.2Ltr Titanium Plus 4by4, top of the range model in late 2015 it’s been very reliable..only problems we have had were crankshaft sensor failed and rear main oil seal leaked. These were fixed by Ford under warranty. Car always serviced by Ford main Dealer and only 58K kms. So I would certainly recommend an Everest Intention was to keep this car long term, but were tempted by something else so vehicle now surplus to requirements and will reluctantly sell it in the near future.
  3. Was that a flippant comment ..or just one completely lacking knolwedge.
  4. Yea ..but it’s not far off is it …..
  5. Be careful putting a fully Synthetic enging oil into the two older cars ... good chance that it will cause the crankshaft oil seals to start leaking.. I wouldnt recommend anyhing other than Mobile 1 for the newer car. Yes,and as said above use a quality oi filter.
  6. Can anyone recommend a reputable company please …Car is W221. … tks
  7. You not only need to compare the model prices. Here both BMW and Merc come quite heavily loaded with extras, whereas in the UK,at least, the car comes basic and I can assure you the extras cost a lot ….but you do get to pick and choose what extras you want…here the car comes as is …little or no choice.
  8. What a relief to see you… was worried that you may have committed suicide. Guess you also spent a little time dreaming up pointless topics to post…….
  9. Types of car insurance in Thailand… https://www.roojai.com/en/car-insurance/compare/ unfortunately, the rest of your question cannot be answered with the information you gave. type of car, value of car, age of car, age of driver, etc. etc. is needed. As an example, we are paying 11,000 Baht for our Everest and nearly ฿50,000 for our E350e First insurance is a good idea as if you have an accident the rep from the insurance company who comes to the scene of the accident will deal with nearly everything for you….provided it is a reputable company
  10. Worked for me now for a couple of years … you are talking out of your arse …
  11. https://www.drive.com.au/reviews/2024-mg-4-review/ Someone might find this interesting ….
  12. I have registered several car at Nonthaburi LTO …always used my Yellow Book …you have been here many years so will no doubt have one …use it
  13. Look at getting the best and secure savings rates available. Also you might find that your wife can get better interest rates than you can. Interest rates are getting better, so have a good look around Also, how old is your daughter … she could help her Mother in years to come
  14. And there was me thinking only half of your post was about Pattaya …. I’m a terrible person…. How many posts are you up to now … today.
  15. Well I have first registered and sold cars both in Bangkok and Nonthaburi using my Yellow Book, so above is not quite true.
  16. Yep… you always have your little friend….
  17. I agree with all that ...been married to my Aging Asian Babe for 21 years now ... every day is a good day ...even the ones when she is being just a little difficult ....phew
  18. I think those videos could very well be produced more due to a financial incentive… Anyway when he disposes of his interest in AN he might very well be drowning in cash and cease production…. Thinking about AN I do wonder which ‘Marketing Genius’ decided to change the name from Thaivisa and also its content…….still it remains a happy playground for many and a useful forum for some….
  19. A very searching question, you must’ve searched a long time for that. Keep it up Dan will love you….
  20. I had a secured CC (100k) with Bangkok Bank for many years … but it was a real pain if I needed to query something. Two plus years ago now I got an unsecured CC with Citi … 160,000Baht …I just have to pay it off every month. It’s automatically taken from my Bangkok Bank account. They are so easy to talk to and so helpful. They have allowed me a couple of times to temp up the limit. After I’d completed the purchase I just payed it off … got me a load of points though. I’m retired, no work permit and 77 years old……But seems things are tightening up. I’ve had an account with CIMB for many years …wanted to open another higher interest account … no can do!
  21. We’re those the ones in a tin, or nice freshly smoked ones …I am looking to buy the latter
  22. You will have to pay all the back years at full price.
  23. My wife is a Thai National but also has British nationality. When we lived in the UK she never worked so was never issued an NI number. Neither does she work here in Thailand but does fill a tax form in every year. When I am no longer above ground she will receive a quite substantial (UK £32k) widows pension…wonder what will happen in her case. There must be many other expats living here in similar circumstances also a little concerned.
