I've been trying to check what package I have from 3bb. I had it for years and I pay 900Baht a month (plus vat).

When I did a speed test just now (because it seems slow) I got 14.1/1.2mbps.

As I cant remember what I should be getting I looked at the 3bb web site to see what 900Baht should give me.  I couldn't find anything that wasn't fiber. Is there anybody still on the same package (or a good memory) that can help me. Saving me a trip to the 3bb office. I live in a condo which is the reason (I think) I haven't been offered an upgrade to fiber.

Thank you for your  replies but I'm British.

I've just been to Bangkok to drop of my passport renewal application form. When it comes back what do I need to do about my TM30. I've not been out of Thailand for 7 years so the TM30 is the only one I've had.

Also as I'm here do I need a letter from the Embassy to show to immigration to transfer my extension to stay.

Are they both the same and the only difference is the translation from Thai to English.

I'm more concerned about the security than the cost. If it was just cost the UK's Post Office does a signed and tracked service for about 250 Baht for a small letter.

With the normal post my sister sent a Christmas Card on the  3rd December which I received in January.

Sending a credit card from the UK to Thailand whats best and safest.

Glad to hear that he's OK.  I just hope somebody buys them and they are as good as running a book shop as he was.

We will be traveling on 4thJanuary (domestic). What facilities are available food and drink wise. Just in case there are no holdups and we get there early.

I know I'm thick but can you give me a more detailed description on where it is. I'm always looking for a cheap place to take the wife. Not being a cheap charlie but I find that if we go to a European restaurant she always orders (cheap) Thai and a luxurious decor doesnt impress. Her favorite was The Fish (all you can eat b-b-q 199 baht).

As we are coming up to 2 years since it closed has anybody heard anything, or are we wasting our time hoping for it to reappear.

The Service Centre is now on the west side of Sukumvit. Its in the 1st building on the left as you come from the 7 (or just past the 7 on Sukumvit). Its a single shop house and the shop next to it protrudes onto the pavement so you wont see it till the last moment. There is no big sign like before.

A few years ago I signed up for a satellite service ( I cant remember the name but it took the football from True).  After they went tits up we were still receiving all the Thai channels through the set top box.

This was all right with me as the wife had the TV for her Soaps and I had the computer (now HD Prime) for the sports. This carried on until a couple of weeks ago when we lost channels 1 to 36, we still had all the advertising channels. I thought that this might be temporary then a few days later they disappeared as well. All we get now is 'No Signal'.

This doesn't bother me but the wife comes back from the village next week and she is going to want her soaps.

Any suggestions about what happened and what can I do about it would be helpful.

You do realize that if you banned them they would have to travel by car. Which would suddenly double the amount of cars on the road.

I found a Doctor near me. She prescribed Clindamycin, Dicloxacillin  and Serratiopeptidase with a proviso that if it doesn't show an improvement I should go to a hospital and have an intravenous injection. She gave me a form to take with me.

She also told me what it was- Cellulitis.

Its a reoccurring problem with an infection in my ankle which spreads up my leg. Looking red and feeling hot.

1st time BHP, intravenous drip kept in over night. Expensive.

Since then local Doctor, intramuscular shot and a course of antibiotics. Except my doctors is shut at the weekend. I stared to take Amoxicillin 500mg last night but I'm not sure if its working, but I don't wont to go to a hospital if I can help it.

Anybody recommend a doctor in Pattaya open weekends (not Hospital).
