  1. Expat shops have all the tea you need, i buy Typhoo 1 cup, Tetley are stronger. Siamburis, The Grocery store, The Pantry etc. For Lipton to taste drinkable you need 2 teabags
  2. If there's a civet shortage which often there is they'll just use locals
  3. Never tried it, sounds primitive, there's a turkish restaurant on Buakhao opposite Tree town that probably sells it
  4. That's easy enough speed, maybe try a different browser see if that makes any difference, Chrome, Opera, Brave, etc
  5. That maybe an internet issue, check your speed, testmy.net
  6. I bought on Lazada, didn't last long
  7. Have you tried the app, never a problem yet
  8. What did the German man do? he won't be innocent. Not sure why Thais always seem to gang up
  9. Good to know, that's where Gavin Waddell is the contact
  10. i feel more exposed walking vs cycling. Motorbikes are fine, gives so many options, just need to be careful
  11. Yes, I'm always looking behind when I'm on a motorbike, best to move out of the fast lane ASAP because vehicles are doing 100+ sometimes in that area
  12. Good, we've agreed your previous post was incorrect "The seller only transfer chanote/tittle once the money is on their account"
  13. ❌ Incorrect, when i bought my condo 4 years ago, i had a bank cheque, this was passed to the seller once my name was on the chanote, this is done at the land office
  14. Maybe so, I didn't talk to him, friend of a friend, so maybe more add ons
  15. research you may learn something, unnecessary stents
  16. Not really, depend what you go for, if the clinic can handle it the charges are much lower than a hospital. We all know hospitals bill padding, usually unnecessary meds not discussed
  17. Doesn't surprise me, I've watched various videos saying hospitals (in US) push stents for money, so probably the same here
  18. I think it was one stent, 3 years ago, and i vaguely remember 40k baht quoted, I couldn't believe how low it was, emergency treatment, had a heart attack whilst cycling
  19. If you go to a clinic they don't add a nurse charge, seems more honest than the usual hospital bill padding
  20. Yes but you can shop around plus have the choice to go to cheaper countries for treatment, Vietnam, Malaysia, India etc
  21. Prices do go up, a lot since Covid, new builds are over priced to begin with so struggle to go up. Buying off plan is fraught with danger. I wouldn't buy until you know the area you want to live in, i changed my mind a few times before buying
  22. An agent should be able to open a bank account for you, better to do that first
