  1. What does the picture of a cops lanyard and pips have to do with the story?
  2. Sarcasm intended for those bereft of the understanding of it.😉
  3. How dare mention that they are bald. Hirsute deprived is the modern term. I've seen more hair on a billiard ball. 15 miles apart. I reckon their dad had a bike.😉
  4. Ah. Anutin is on a roll. This one being Swiss. Dirty foreigners.
  5. Not many Mambas, black or otherwise in Thailand.
  6. Living in Thailand perhaps it would be better to google what you consider a threat to you and not wait until it happens and then do something unnecessary. Like bumping off the Postman because he looked like a threat. Joking aside. I was like you when I first came to Thailand.. I then bought a book on snakes and learnt how to respect them.
  7. He said"Who wants to live in a country where more and more people look like Middle East terrorists."😉

  12. Ah. But poor old mum is not a doctor. The Swiss men are on a roll. Get well soon Khun Yai.
  13. Smartness is knowing when to keep your mouth shut.😉
  14. Dr Anand was a ray of light when he was Prime Minister. After his tenure it became a downhill journey, and still is.
  15. In civilian life you only need a gun if you live in the sticks to provide food for yourself and family or to reduce the number of animal predictors. And sports shooting maybe.
  16. In the article there is no mention of swimming lessons. Over the years I have ensured that my nieces and nephews can swim by teaching them myself. A degree in higher education is useless if you are in dep water and can't swim. I have repeatedly suggested in various forums that the military open up their sports facilities, including swimming pools to schools in their area for a couple of mornings a week perhaps. Hotels and resorts could do the same and be reimbursed for the facility. An average of four children a day drown here in Thailand. Where is the Sports Minister on this subject. Most developed countries have swimming lessons in their schools curriculums.
  17. I've used Eastwater's tap water for brewing tea and cooking here in Sattahip for over thirty years. And at ninety, still alive and kicking. I may need descaling sometime in the future.😉
