A sign of the times. Not only in Thailand. In my school in London back in the 1940s. Any altercations between pupils seen by the teachers were diverted to the Gym, where it was sorted out with the gloves on, and a shake of hands after. Even on the streets it was one to one and no kicking. On the street on one occasion I received a black eye and again we sorted it out in the gym later under the teacher's supervision. No. I wasn't a trouble maker. It was just growing up in a time when our fathers were away fighting a war and we had to look after ourselves. Mentally and physically. Now I think, due to violence shown on the internet anything goes.
