  15. op re your original post i think its a bit far fetched to think you can use 2 land crossings for 30 day visa exempt entry + extensions at the end of one year, and then get another 2 at the beginning of the next, that would be 8 months continued staying in Thailand, immigration will have a different view on that to the one you have, if you want to stay that long then get a long term visa
  16. a re-entry permit is valid until the expiry date of your latest permission to stay date, a single entry being just that, good for one re-entry, a multi entry good for you guessed it multiple re-entries.
