  2. when you say when you say new 'visa', where did you obtain the 'visa' inside or outside of Thailand
  3. the driver should have called the insurance company to the scene, and you should have kept out of it, you have only complicated things by poking your nose in. i think it was your friends fault as you stated the bike was parked.
  4. need to get your head out of the sand, if your bringing enough money into live on into Thailand then you more than likely need to get a TIN, should speak to local office
  5. you have changed my post which you have then quoted, look at forum rule 28
  6. so you are implying that the car is moving on its own without any input from the driver
  7. i think it does, have you ever been in that position?
  8. not really, as you have no control over it, your just a yearly allowed guest in Thailand
  9. i should of added legally to the post new cars are different to change of ownership so prachin buri man has not registered the vehicle in his name
  10. no compulsory insurance is required
  11. I think you are not on a OA visa but a yearly extension for being retired. and your last visa was a non immigrant 'O' visa, which has long expired, if that is the case you do not need insurance, as you are out of Thailand you should have a re-entry permit issued by immigration, if so you should be stamped in until March, if you do not have a re-entry permit, then you will have to start the process over again. and entry on a visa exempt entry which at the moment is a 60 days permission to stay stamp.
  12. a car from another province will need to have new local reg number issued, doesn'y matter who does it the buyer or the seller
  13. why not renew 'marriage' extension next time if you do not qualify for a 'retirement' extension, then leave the 400,000 in the bank and bring in enough for a combination 'retirement' extension. once you have the required 12 months of bank deposits renew early for the combination 'retirement' extension. which will start on the application date.
  14. visas are never extended, only the permission to stay that the visa gave on entry is extended, look at the wording at the top of a form tm7, '' application for extension of temporary stay in the Kingdom'' no mention of visa extension and at the bottom of tm7 ''I hereby apply for extension period of temporary stay in the Kingdom for ........'' the type of visa that you last entered on is required, but the actual visa expired a long time ago
  15. neta v2 now starts at 429,000thb
  16. would she have to get the non immigrant visa outside the country, to start off the piggy backing husband extension
  17. why do you need to keep the 400,000thb in the bank, that can be withdrawn at anytime after you getting the extension stamp in your passport you could do a combination method x amount of money in bank and x amount per month transfer with a joint total of 800,000thb
  18. get the biggest battery that fits with your budget, I have 11.5kwh, that keeps my bills down to 60kwh ish monthly, about 300thb ish
  19. I just completed this quiz. My Score 60/100 My Time 151 seconds

  21. on a sunny day a max of 20kwh and yesterday really cloudy all day 5.6kwh
  22. its not a 'visa' extension its an extension of the permission to stay stamp' which has to be done in the area you are living, have a tm30 for really unhelpful comment.
