Slim prospects for consumer goods price drop for several months
Pmbkk replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
This is not Issac Newton's logic(what goes up must come down) - retailers don't tend to reduce their their prices to match conditions ???? -
I think you scratched my car too - luckily for you nothing too major - I'll accept 50,000 ????

Not to read rubbish and waste many hours of your life on something that doesn't concern you. ???? Much the same as the Rooney v Vardy case P.S. I didn't read the article, just commented on the title

Tourism sector expected to recover in 2022: Ministry of Tourism and Sports
Pmbkk replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Which joker(pun intended) is going to go somewhere for their summer hols for a tan & fun - where they have to wear a mask on the beach and walking outside? They'll come back with a nice tan and white mask around their mouths - they'd be a laughing stock ???? -
Anyone coming from the West, there's a nice(it's not bells and whistles, but rustic) pub called the Green Man by Hatton Cross station off the A30. Has a large garden and 7 mins to the T1-3 car park Have a drink there as the current T3 parking charges are 5.20 for 29 mins from entry ( considering the queue to get in you have to be L.C. ). Note: I have no association with the above, haven't been in there for the last 15 years, but I was a consultant travelling abroad every 1 to 5 days per week

I was looking at TVs recently - I have a large Samsung curved TV for the living room, I was looking for a smaller version(27/32') for one of the guest bedrooms - Samsung has stopped making them due to issues - but mine has been working fine for 5 years. Again this is TV, don't know re monitor. The screen viewing is definitely better when looking at an angle. However with a pc monitor I'm usually sat right in front of it so I don't know if there would be much benefit.

Wish to cancel my True internet 30 day package
Pmbkk replied to croftrobin's topic in Mobile Devices and Apps
My wife just got back after 3 months - she had a 30 day internet deal with True, but it was not set to autorenew, so she did it each month, Her advice is just to go to the True shop. Alternatively you can talk to them via True i Service app'. -
We(my parents when I was a kid) used to have a couple of Irish Wolfhounds crossed with long haired German Shephards( not very good looking but extremely scarey) - and a Rottweiler(rare at the time) that sat at the front of the drive - no dog came anywhere near our house to smell anything. Funny enough no humans either ????

Just a poor cup side(2 cups where their opposition rested their players), a free run to the final of the European Cup Final - even with the ref' giving them anything in the final. Won't be missed .. ????

Swedish woman dies after being hit by motorcycle in Thailand
Pmbkk replied to webfact's topic in Southern Thailand News
They really need to introduce a proper theory/practical driving test... My missus did her test in London after 20 years driving in Thailand - she found it very hard and she's no idiot. She was just used to driving the Thai way -
I'd hate to think all Utd fans had your brain capacity.. I expect your mates to shout up soon - hopefully they read your nonsense first !

How is this all over the place - EVERYONE knows it's a dig at Liverpool except the Utd super supporter sat at home... If you need me to spell it out more just let me know after your nap... They lost the premiership the day before and only in cups - god - do you need pictures. Seriously enjoy your love-in " I reckon that Liverpool side could make up into a good cup team - given the luck of the draw - remind me of the old Spurs "
-
You know - it was a dig at Liverpool - even an idiot like you must know that. I'll let you know that Liverpool used to call Utd a cup team. Maybe you've got your head up your mate's Liverpool <deleted> you don't recognise it. Don't you want to upset people so you have someone to talk to. That's why people don't comment on here - just get a forum for the 3 of you.

Obtaining a Thai Credit Card
Pmbkk replied to scubascuba3's topic in Jobs, Economy, Banking, Business, Investments
A lot of place where I live in London still don't take cash(pubs/restaurants) - so you'll need some sort of cashless payment method -
I agree - they're basically looking for verification that she'll return to Thailand. I think her history proves that. When my wife did it the first time she just had the head of the hospital say she was a doctor and expected back on x date to restart work. Added deeds to the house. That proves she plans to return. Your previous track record should suffice - even for Patel ( if not ask her how her Kinyarwanda(language of Rwanda) is ) ????

I was quite surprised - I rented out a couple of apartments - one to a Korean guy running a business and another working in the German Embassy. Both long term tenants. They've both moved out post covid - I was asked If I'd accept an Indian client. I was gobsmacked. These apts are central relatively expensive CBD apts. It was said as if I'd say no.
