  1. That's only to play music from phone to car. Google maps and Netflix require a cable. If you want wireless connection for your phone/car android auto/carplay you'll probably need to buy a carlink 5.0. https://youtu.be/cPBwrDM1s_Y?si=fmbw5MdSzstL328l
  2. Why would I care? Sex is for my enjoyment, shopping with the money I give her after is her enjoyment. Baby doll Sunny Leone (dancer) and Kanika Kapoor (singer) is the best ..... Lots of complaints it was too sexy. https://youtu.be/yP9KiFTyBks?si=JlGq7_yjqTFTXpj5
  3. Neta and GMC and Toyota all require a usb to phone cable for android auto to work. Don't know about apple, but a cable would be the first thing I tried. My kids Toyota (3 months old) says on screen "connect cable for android auto" Neta manual says nothing, only YouTube has the answer.
  4. Did you plug your phone into the car usb port with a data cable? Cos that's how it normally works.
  5. On the downside, fail a drug test, get caught DUI, working without a permit, or any other minor crime and you'll be deported if on retirement, but not if on marriage.
  6. From the number of votes cast in the previous and next elections, I find it completely credible. 14M votes mysteriously appeared for just that one 2020 election!
  7. They didn't speak to me at all, just waved me through.
  8. I had a great solo trip to China a few years back. 2,500bht for a return flight Chiang Mai to Changsha, then a train journey to Zangjiajie. Immigration waved me through, zero interest, police ignored me, and were difficult to spot. Had to show my passport to get on the train. Walking in the mountains for 10 days was great, long deserted paved trails, only saw 3 white people after boarding the all Chinese people flight at CM. Food was difficult, couldn't tell a family home from a restaurant out in the rural areas, everyone very polite and friendly, but no English anywhere, signs or language so quite hard to get around. Train full of peasant farmer types, all with big bags of food, which they insisted I shared on the train journey. Download an offline map like maps.me so you can use your phone to get around, expect nothing online to work. Money, Think I just used my Thai debit card in ATMs. Great, but strange place for a holiday.
  9. I've done the Hanoi day cultural walking tour, and the evening food walking tour. Both very good value and worthwhile
  10. If your rice cooker is a bit basic, soak the dried beans (from Makro) in water overnight. Alternatively, cook them twice in the rice cooker. Good luck! PS. 500gm of dried Navy beans (about 40bht) + 600gm of Rosa tomato sauce (44bht) makes about 2Kg of baked beans. Rehydrate and cook your beans in the rice cooker, then put the cooked beans in a saucepan with enough tomato sauce to make it the right consistency, and simmer for 10-15 mins.
  11. So I've ordered a new solar panel ......... 2,100bht Inc delivery But I have this grid tie inverter ........ From my spares box And there's a 4-5v missmatch in the spec. I'm hoping the panel will be a bit less volts than advertised, and/or the GTI being able to take a bit more than the spec. What do you guys think?
  12. I made baked beans, in the rice cooker.
  13. Why would you make your life about people you don't know and have no connection with? And probably wouldn't like you if you did meet them!
  14. I don't care what happens to foreigners, not my family, not my friends, not my countrymen, not my concern. This is what my first Thai girlfriend taught me!
  15. Kettle/cooking/water heaters/aircon = under 300bht. Fridge/lights/sockets/E-MTB = solar power
  16. The easiest way to save money, is to not use air conditioning. My electricity bill is just under 300bht this month, same as every other month.
  17. Most of the world don't use insurance, it's a western financial scam. Along with the artificially high western ponzi property prices. No insurance on my house either, waste of money.
  18. It's the 3rd explanation for the problems/errors with Newtons laws. 1. MOND (modified Newtonian dynamics) 2. Dark Matter 3. Red pill Find 3 red pill theory as good as the other two. And 2 dark Matter the least likely.
  19. Lots of bangs and crashes near my home in CM last night. My rabbits seemed completely unconcerned.
  20. Been to Da Nang and Vung Tau beaches, no vendors at all, I was totally ignored by everyone. In Hanoi, Da Nang and Saigon town, in fact everywhere I travelled in Vietnam no beggars at all, was approached by a few young ladies in Saigon though. I was warned not to wear my backpack in crowds or getting on bus/train, keep it in front of you, apparently they crowd you while someone behind razors your backpack. Don't think beggars/vendors are allowed to hassle you these days.
  21. I always use the airport bus, $2 from airport to town centre in Hanoi. $1 in Da Nang and Saigon.
  22. A broken finger would also be consistent with falling into a stream while walking out in the dales.
  23. Baked beans are really cheap, dried white beans from makro, cook in a pressure cooker using 'tua' setting (add beans and cover with 1/4 inch water), then pour cooked beans into a saucepan, add a bottle of tomato sauce and simmer for 30 minutes = baked beans. (Heinz for American, Rosa for British) About 5 cans worth for around 50bht!
