There are a few possibilities that spring to mind 1 the LNB is only receiving one polarity or band 11ghz/12ghz that could be a problem with the receiver or LNB 2 the transponder that sends updated BISS codes has changed 3 receiver needs firmware update to receive new BISS codes among other things maybe updated transponder list sometimes you can manually change the update transponder in the receiver settings. You could try doing a factory reset..if that doesn't work then probably easiest to call a satellite installation crew to come have a look.

The chance might not be "considerable" but it's still risky..there are police informants everywhere who would get a cut of the proceeds from catching a "dirty foreigner" working without a permit (even voluntary work requires a permit) I wouldn't chance it...just go along and observe, it's no fun doing hard labour in the sun, heat and humidity anyway.

johng replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
Well there was a lot of Facebook accounts removed a while ago. I suppose another person up on charges soon will be the MP who criticised the "democratic soldier" for sniffling 90 times during the censure debate ( possibly spreading something) -
Transfer Money from UK to Thailand
johng replied to pixelaoffy's topic in Jobs, Economy, Banking, Business, Investments
Yes always send the money in pounds sterling..the banks will often try tricky methods to try and fool you into letting them to do the currency conversion their end so check carefully also pay any "other charges" at the receiving end. -

is political correctness arrived in ASIA?
johng replied to georgegeorgia's topic in ASEAN NOW Community Pub
Those uniforms are "ok" because they are not Thai nurses uniforms..a bit like its ok to have UK and US flags on bikinis, underpants, shoes and socks but woe betide anyone doing that with a Thai flag ! -
They sell distilled water in Tescos's about 15 baht per liter look in the car care section they will also have ready mixed coolant for an extortionate price. You don't want to be using "normal" water because the minerals in it will cause limescale and fur after a while causing problems for the radiator, water pump and small waterways in the engine.

On Thai TV news the other day they where doing a kind of re-enactment of the plastic bag on head "interrogation" method unbelievably they said the the bags where used so the person in custody wouldn't be able to identify/see the interrogator and that there was no need for multiple bags as just one black bag was sufficient !! Yes totally sufficient to suffocate the suspect to death !

Probably the vast majority are not very ill or have the virus but are symptomless. I wouldn't like being locked up for 14 days in those conditions and having not committed any crime either.

Yes closed most manufacturing in the west because the Chinese with their billion worker drones would work for a pittance and make the companies more money..now we see it's not such a good idea to rely on one country for "everything"

Transport Company to resume interprovincial bus operations
johng replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
Just open all the windows ????...they still have those black fume belching 60 year+ old buses with slide down windows in Bangkok. I think the LPG ones are still stuck in the customs compound. -
Don't forget less "vapour trails" too.????
