  1. I can see it now "Oh...the underpass is closed today...how about a tour of tailor and gem shops instead ?"
  2. True but if it's the same as my MooBaan....Thais will look at you funny when you wash your own car. I have never seen anyone here wash/wax their own car (GF says why work when there are car wash people at the PTT and Caltex stations ????). I had several MooBaan security guys who stopped at the checkpoint at the end of our soi staring in amazement as I applied wax to my car this past Sunday.
  3. Very old horses (17 years +) often have an inability to process nutrients and look this way. It really depends on how old these horses are and whether they are being given just hay or a supplemental feed with extra grain.
  4. Is the article meant to invoke compassion for this drug dealing expat ?
  5. I just washed and waxed my car.. estimated costs...10 baht (soap, paste wax, water...cheap cars don't look any cleaner at 4 million baht a rinse
  6. Go to Fortune Town...a whole section dedicated to cameras and the like. You may see more models available.
  7. Could you not read it online ?
  8. I'd bet it depends on local situation. You most likely would be making a nuisance of yourself and they might accomodate you...or they might have standing orders to physically throw a net over you and force you into a room.
  9. The problem here is with Samsung you are paying a premium for the brand. So your 9K Samsung is likely the equivalent to a 5K second or third tier brand in performance. I have a new Vivo Y76 at 8500 baht and it works great with all apps and navigation connected to my Android Auto system in the car.
  10. Modify the lifts and turn it into a parking deck
  11. Very unclear about what you are asking. Is this your 90 day address report (NOT an extension) or does you initial 90 days on your entry visa expire on the 5th ?
  12. Just take a screenshot and save it in your pics
  13. That would mean less baht were purchased, theortically lowering the baht against other currencies.
  14. Anti Money Landering regulations. You can still use a bank SWIFT transfer vs a service like WISE
  15. Yeah..I live in the area and this u-turns are the bane of my existence. There are two types , the flyovers and then the under highway ones which can only be accessed from the frontage roads. All requiring you to cut across traffic to access while other traffic is entering or exiting at the same time. Absolute bedlam
  16. Our property is loaded with large snails, which devour everything. I researched if they are edible and while these same snails are apparently a delicacy in Korea, grilled, they can also carry this same rat lungworm ...so no way even grilled was I going to chance it.
  17. Once Covid extensions are terminated for every class of visa (coming at some point) you would be at the same dilemma. Having not planned for that eventuality, your option now is proof of funds -or- contacting an agent. Your frustration is understandable, but if you want to stay in the country...get on it. Other option is to leave temporarily and return with Visa exempt (if qualified) which will give you time to sort out the financials.
  18. Yes...I've been stuck going thru that construction far too often. They are building something similar on Rt9 (kanchanpisek Rd) near Central Westgate now too...I guess years of delays...hopefully I'll live long enough to enjoy the new roads.
