  1. The units are domestic ones with IR remote controls. And also no temperature display on the units anymore (new design...). The problem I try to solve is to 1. run them all at the same temperature without running around with the IR remote and checking each unit individually and 2. set the temperature from a single wired controller and connect this controller to the Trolmaster system As you know by now, yes it is a grow. And yes, it is very badly planned with domestic air cons, I am aware of this. I wasn't involved in the planning stage as I joined this company just recently and trying to fix all these errors....
  2. Hi everyone, is it possible to connect several AC unit (same brand and model) to one wired master control box? And then from this box connect to an external automation system? Just need to be able to adjust the temperature. Mode (cooling) and fan speed (possibly low or medium) will be fixed once the units are running.
  3. Could you tell the name and location of the restaurant? Not everyone outside of pattaya is familiar with landmark locations. Thank you
  4. Just one question: WHY? Did it come for free with the last shipment of second hand AG machines?
  5. That is already wrong on so many levels. And unfortunately typical for Thailand. No one dares to intervene in such situations and just minding their own business...
  6. 200 hp on that shoebox. Must be amazing acceleration
  7. No need for Chuwit and his anti-weed crusade. Current polls see Bhumjaithai Party lurching at 4 percent. No way they are part of a ruling coalition. And I don't think it has much to do with their weed policy rather than the failures during covid and the nepotism of the buriram clan
  8. What do battery storage systems have to do with EV cars? Please explain. I'm eager to know the relation. Meanwhile I'm happy to drive around the neighborhood with 1/10th of the cost of a gasoline car with my EV....
  9. You could DIY a heating station for Dynavap. Works either by induction or heat
  10. You should be able to find volcano in Thailand online (Facebook or Line groups) Thais always find a way to import and sell illegal items. Be prepared to pay more for the service.
  11. How's your financial situation? Just asking because with no work permit history it might be difficult to get a car financed or you plan to buy everything in cash? And do you really need an EV? You can make calculations based on gasoline and electricity cost. Another question, can you charge at home? And even if you can, be prepared to pay another 10k for meter upgrade and wiring. Home charger / wallbox is free when purchasing a new EV. If second hand EV , expect another 10k to buy home charger. Charging externally at public outlets is a pita and expensive. You might consider second hand vehicles (ICE or EV) from the dealer. Toyota, Honda and MG have good reputation for selling reliable and well maintained second hand cars.

    Seahorse Ferry

You're right. I'm not saying the ferry service is bad. Just not suits my requirements, budget wise. I have no problem renting a scooter on Samui, so flying to Surat Thani and then take the ferry would be my choice. Train I've also done before if time was no constraint.
  13. Just picked up the MG4 from the dealer this morning. Just short drive to work for now. Even if I was satisfied with the rented GWM Ora Good Cat for the last ten days, I consider the the MG4 one, if not two classes higher for a similar price. Just feels more worthy, quiet, easier and more logical to use. Also the contact to the road, suspension and driving comfort feels like a much more expensive car. Tomorrow already going out for Songkran holidays to Ko Chang and getting long-distance experience right away. Planning to make some YTs to document it....
  14. Been eyeing the Sleek Type V GT with center motor and belt drive if we really need a EV motorcycle. Just bought a Honda CT 125 six months ago and tomorrow getting my MG 4, so currently no need and also no money....

    Seahorse Ferry

Ok, that's all direct and the probably most convenient way. But I'd reckon train and bus to Chumphon or even flying to Surat Thani and take the ferry is much cheaper (possibly half price)

    Seahorse Ferry

So a return trip for two people and a car will cost me 14.000 THB if I calculated that correctly? How can that compete against the already inflated flight tickets from Bangkok Airways (faster) and the other modes of transport (flying to Surat and ferry or train/bus to Chumphon and ferry)?
  17. I think long time ago I've read something about the difference of sorghum for feed and human consumption. It was some bitter tasting ingredient / bitter taste of the grains if I remember correctly.
  18. But it has hub motor right? How concerned are you about the rainy season and driving through flooded areas? I still have the mindset: hub drive scooters => cheap crap, middle drive with belt scooters and motorbikes => better quality
  19. All those "Chef cares" meals I had so far tasted good for RTE meals from 7-11. Another good meals are the curries with the blue-white label from some popular Thai restaurant franchise
  20. You definitely need to do some research about the correct temperatures for seeding and growing parsley. Also the temp of seed storage could be important. Just a hint for your start
  21. I'm having an ORA Good Cat 400 Pro as rental for one week now (until the MG4 is hopefully delivered next week). So far, I can't say anything really wrong or bad about the car. Power and distance is good for me and I think for most average car users. I drive 95% in ECO mode and fine with that. Downside is the slow charging speed with DC charging (only 65 kW). That is not up to date with other EVs in the market. ACC and ACC+ lane center assist work pretty well on the highway + tollway. Pretty much takes off a lot of driving "work" for most sections. TJA is useful sometimes, but struggles (as any other car/brand) with the idiotic Thai driving behaviour of squeezing into the smallest gap and not keeping the safety distance to the car in front. Slight criticism (as many reviewers have stated as well), even with my long arms the touchscreen display is too far away from the driver. Even for adjusting the temperature you have to lean forward and take your look away from the road. And the buttons or icons are way too small to operate them with your finger at the first attempt. Also the voice control is terrible. Not that it's only in Thai (I learned the most useful commands already), it sometimes takes 5 or 10 attempts calling "Hey Ora", until the system is ready to take commands.
  22. How's the built quality and max speed? Can it be used for highway driving or long commutes?
  23. Let's hope for some rain. Or do you have irrigation?
  24. Google Maps via Android auto of Ora good cat requires a pretty new/fast phone. My old realme 5 is almost unusable, my gf new Oppo works fast and smooth
