    Trump's first term was no worse than most others, and better than many. I doubt that you have the inside knowledge, to which you lay claim, on what his second term will be like. Let's wait and see how things go before passing judgement.

    83 years old 3 days ago.Happy to be in Thailand, with my Thai wife, in old age. She is 68. We were married in Taiwan in 1990, and above all else we are very good friends. I have told her if and when I get sick do not put me into a hospital, just make me as comfortable as possible at home until I expire. I guess I could be called stoic. I find enough in each day to keep me interested and involved with what is going on around me.

    I grew up in the UK in the 1940s and 1950s. In those days education, appearance, speech, behaviour, intelligence, law and order, and humour were all vastly superior to what you can see today. Very sad.

    Starmer, the UK prime minister, apparently took 479 delegates with him, by air, to this conference. Hard to believe, but that is what is being reported.
