  1. Which excuses? I have shown that by far, the U.S. has the best post-Covid economic performance among other comparable countries. You should try to think beyond your primary schoolyard economics! ๐Ÿ˜€
  2. What deflection? You cited yourself an article confirming the good economic performance of the U.S. under Biden, without even noticing it! ๐Ÿ˜€
  3. So the economy is doing so well that the U.S. Chamber of Commerce is complaining that it's difficult to find enough workforce. Thanks for confirming the outstanding economic performance of the U.S. under Biden! ๐Ÿ˜€ From your source: "We hear every day from our member companiesโ€”of every size and industry, across nearly every stateโ€”that theyโ€™re facing unprecedented challenges trying to find enough workers to fill open jobs. Right now, the latest data shows that we have 8.5 million job openings in the U.S. but only 6.5 million unemployed workers."
  4. I was talking about that. No one claimed that inflation was not lower pre-Covid than post-Covid, in any developped country.
  5. Not really a relevant comparison. The 9/11 hijackers (how bad they were), did not try to steal elections.
  6. Muslim tribes had themselves invaded and colonised this area, which was previously part of the Bizantine empire, a few centuries ago......
  7. Stop the banana Republic B.S. They assaulted the Capitol. It's about a legal technicality and doesn't innocent them for breaking into the Capitol.
  8. When? Which source? Another unbacked claim! I understand why you don't want to cite your sources! ๐Ÿ˜€ https://www.imf.org/external/datamapper/PCPIPCH@WEO/WEOWORLD/GBR/USA On the other hand, for the last four published quarters, UK GDP growth 0.2%, USA 3% (ร—15) https://commonslibrary.parliament.uk/research-briefings/sn02784/
  9. Talking about weak arguments... ๐Ÿ˜€ Bragging about weak inflation in 2019 while it was higher than in other developped countries!
  10. I cited 2019 because the other poster proudly cited 2019. ๐Ÿ˜‰ Feel free to use the linked database and make a comparison between the U.S. and other developped countries over several years. It will show that the inflation levels have been similar and rather well correlated for decades, as it is also the case today.
  11. I acknowledge it's not a high level argument. However it's at least factual, which was not the case of the post I replied to.
  12. Right. 2024 Trump convicted felon ( which is what was discussed)! ๐Ÿ˜€
  13. And Trump did not do what he did! ๐Ÿ˜€ I also heard Trump actually won the 2020 election!
  14. Strange response! They are subject to the same trends as the others. In which year under Trump did the U.S. enjoy around 8 times the growth of the Eurozone and 15 times the UK growth! (See the table I posted before), in the same U.S. with the same powerful companies? ๐Ÿ˜ƒ
  15. So when It's not good, It's Biden's fault, and when It's good, It's not because of his policies! 555!๐Ÿ˜…
  16. Assertions without any source and date. Where are the links to your sources, where are your tables?
  17. I don't disagree. However, I was discussing about the economic performance, not how it may be perceived. Factually the U.S. performance is good and other developped countries would be happy to enjoy the same performance. How it is perceived is another story.
  18. "Probably comparable". I would say you may be "probably" wrong! ๐Ÿ˜ƒ
  19. It means nothing to you because ou don't like this outstanding performance. ๐Ÿคฃ
  20. The econy is globalised and economic trends are global. It's meaningless to bragg about low or high levels of inflation or growth at a given time, if other comparable countries have similar numbers. However, a good indicator of a government's performance is whether a country performs better or worse than comparable countries which subject to the same trend. In this respect, the U.S. has performed better than other comparable countries: with a similar level of inflation, it has achieved a much higher growth level. https://commonslibrary.parliament.uk/research-briefings/sn02784/
  21. Inflation was low in every developped countries, it had nothing to do with Trump. Actually, inflation was higher in 2019 than in other developped countries! ๐Ÿ˜ƒ
