  1. The Space Trees gummies are supposed to resemble miniature dinosaurs, I think. RabBuds sells less potent gummies from the same company called "Dino-mites" and it's the same shape. Valid point - I cut them just below the "neck", lol. I was just in Hua HIn and picked up some "Fruit Loops" ring shaped gummies. 63mg per gummy. Haven't tried one yet. 8pcs for 850 thb. I'll have to check out Bb-Budz_CNX next time I'm in that area. Thanks for the heads up and let us know how you like their product.
  2. I was wondering what happened to Steven Tyler of Aerosmith.
  3. The topic is "favorite insult", genius. My post was completely on topic.
  4. There are two types of people on Aseannow. People who can't stand bignok and people who are bignok.
  5. What you don't do is take tax advice from drunken expats on an anonymous public forum.
  6. For 5 30mg gummies you will pay 600 THB; for 5 50mg gummies, it's 800 THB. I buy the 50mg gummies and cut them in half; makes it 80 THB/dose. You may want to start with 1/2 of a 30mg until you get the dosage dialed into your own comfort level. (And keep in mind there is a time lag effect on edibles; it takes an hour or so to take effect.)
  7. Space Trees, 13 Sirimangkalajarn Rd sells some very strong THC gummies. I buy mine there - 30mg or 50mg per gummy. RabBuds, Nimman soi 3 (I think) also sells a variety of gummies and other edibles.
  8. Edit: I guess not. Oops. Presumably you mean YouTube TV? Here's a list of channels: https://tv.youtube.com/welcome/#base-plan "YouTube TV is $72.99/mo for 1 membership with up to 6 household accounts. Memberships include national and local networks, our collection of on-demand movies and shows, and more. We also include unlimited cloud DVR storage space. And, of course, there are no hidden fees, equipment rentals, or installation appointments. See how we stack up against competitors. And for an additional monthly charge, get a few more premium add-on networks like HBO Max™, SHOWTIME®, and STARZ ®."
  9. The same people who said, "Men age like fine wine. Women age like milk."
  10. You've created a very typical AseanNow thread - you state in the OP that you don't like Thai coffee. AN members respond by recommending you try Thai coffee.
  11. Negative.
  12. Maybe order from the Hillkoff website..... This store is located in Chiang Mai and while they do provide copious amounts of Thai coffee, they also have international speciality coffee that you can order, e.g., coffee from Colombia, Brazil, Costa Rica, Kenya, etc. https://www.hillkoff.shop/interspecialtycoffee
  13. If Al Capone was Thai Capone he would have been made Prime Minister.
  14. In America, one does not qualify for Social Security retirement payments until one has worked at least 40 quarters (10 years). The amount one receives is calculated based upon one's highest 35 years' worth of earnings. https://www.ssa.gov/myaccount/assets/materials/eligibility-for-benefits.pdf Edit to add: there are exceptions, of course. For example, non-working spouses can claim benefits based upon their spouse's lifetime earnings.
  15. I believe the (insert municipal authority here) is moving some or all of the above ground cables (i.e., electricity, phone, whatever) to make them below ground cables. It's also my understanding that this is a multi-year project and, if so, get used to it.
  16. Your arm will definitely be sore for a couple of days after a Shingrix innoculation.
  17. As far as I know, I don't use CFSB or Evolve....WISE takes the money from my NFCU account and then it ends up in my Thai bank account as Thai baht. If WISE somehow uses CFSB or Evolve to make that happen, it isn't visible to me. (Thus, my question to your original statement.)
  18. I use a similar concept but all within the confines of NFCU. One NFCU checking account where my direct deposit lands (and I use to pay bills) and then another NFCU checking account that I use to ACH funds to WISE. I transfer from the main account to the WISE-linked account just prior to initiating a transfer via WISE.
  19. Humor me.....why does one need both Navy Federal and Community Federal to transfer cash with WISE? Why not ACH from one or the other to WISE?
  20. Pro tip: get yours inside the airport prior to your flight. Takes just minutes.
  21. This page lists what you can do online. Seems pretty comprehensive to me. https://www.ssa.gov/onlineservices/
  22. To switch, you'll need the previous twelve consecutive months' worth of bank statements showing 65K or more THB transferred into the account from outside of the country - FTT is the bank code, IIRC. Edit to add: when transferring with WISE, make certain the check the box "funds for long term stay" as the reason.
  23. This is the way. ^^
