  1. According to the UK govt website, because you are traveling from a country on the "red list" you'd need to have a negative PCR test within the previous 72 hours of traveling and then pay for a quarantine hotel. https://www.gov.uk/guidance/red-amber-and-green-list-rules-for-entering-england#red-list-rules That "google" thing is awesome. You should check it out sometime.
  2. To respond directly to the OP, the answer is "no". There is no clinical evidence that Ivermectin prevents/cures COVID. Listen to the scientists, not to Facebook. Good grief and holy hell.
  3. OK, but the relatively small pieces of data from Israel are utterly dwarfed by data in Europe which are not showing at this point a decline in protection. This is a much greater level of observation and data. (I'm including the UK in the "European" data even though....you know.) While Israel is seeing a huge rise in cases for Delta, it's in a country that didn't get much of an Alpha surge - during Alpha there were tight restrictions inside Israel and tough border restrictions too. So comparing the data needs to take that into account. The Mayo Clinic (USA) has indeed said that vaccine effectiveness is declining against Delta. Is this due to Delta's genetic advantages? Or is it due to antibodies declining over time? Or is it a bit of both? Or is it something else? At this point the case that overall protection is already showing a decline due to time (as opposed to other factors) is not proven or observed. Maybe this data will surface, it just hasn't yet.
  4. Well, to start, neither has been approved by the World Health Organization. If that organization - which is a Chinese lapdog - doesn't approve their vaccines then it doesn't say much for the quality. Further, I'm not sure why anyone needs to provide "proof" to you of anything. You presumably have google like everyone else. But here, let me help you: "“We will solve the issue that current vaccines don’t have very high protection rates,” Gao said in a presentation on Chinese COVID-19 vaccines and immunization strategies at a conference in the southwestern city of Chengdu. “It’s now under consideration whether we should use different vaccines from different technical lines for the immunization process.” https://apnews.com/article/china-gao-<deleted>-vaccines-offer-low-protection-coronavirus-675bcb6b5710c7329823148ffbff6ef9 So, you see, even the Chinese think their own vaccines suck.
  5. Trip Advisor is a now irrelevant website that used to accept bribes for posting fake reviews for businesses that provided sub-standard service.
  6. Brownie points awarded to you, sir. Each brownie point is worth .001 satang.
  7. All of the Western vaccines are EXCELLENT in protecting against hospitalization and death. No vaccine prevents infection. It keeps you from having a severe case....that's the point of the vaccine. If you mistakenly assumed it was a "magic potion" that keeps everyone from being infected....there's a guy in Isaan selling magic lottery tickets you should call.
  8. Gee, let's think. Health care? Check. Helping friends and relatives who have no savings? Check. Ordering food for delivery? Check. Shall we continue?
  9. Forest fire mitigation....right up there with "saving our people with vaccines". Assclown.
  10. I LOVE how this headline leads with "recoveries" and then, as an afterthought, reports another 17,000+ infections. "Spin", anyone?
  11. The Clown Show continues. Incredible. If you want people to NOT die, provide vaccines. Apparently not the priorty.
  12. I politely suggest your response indicates you don’t really understand the OP. Your example is the exact opposite of the OP, which is that Thais are spending more money outside of Thailand, to buy things from outside of Thailand, and that those things are priced in foreign currencies. From the OP: Youtrip also reported that Thai consumer spending in foreign currencies is still on the increase. Part of the reason is that people cannot travel abroad, but the demand for foreign goods remains high, while the same products might not be available in Thailand or are selling locally at inflated prices.
  13. In which case, it would be even more valuable as a new thread on that topic.
  14. Not at all, Mr Monster. Just found your wording to be a bit less than straightforward.
  15. This has got to be fiction. Thailand is now going to model its COVID strategy based upon what India has done? India?
