The exemptions begin. Trump will delay some auto tariffs after Detroit Three push WASHINGTON, March 5 (Reuters) - President Donald Trump agreed to delay tariffs for one month on some vehicles built in North America after a call with the CEOs of General Motors (GM.N), opens new tab and Ford (F.N), opens new tab and the chair of Stellantis, the White House said Wednesday. The automakers had urged Trump to waive 25% tariffs on Mexico and Canada on vehicles that comply with the 2020 U.S.-Mexico-Canada Agreement's rules of origin. The move will benefit U.S. automakers and other foreign automakers that are in compliance. https://www.reuters.com/business/autos-transportation/trump-held-call-with-gm-ford-ceos-potential-tariff-delay-2025-03-05/ -

He wants to kneecap Social Security so the public loses confidence in it and then he can privatize it on his new X financial services platform. Rinse/repeat on Medicare and Medicaid. Sometimes I wish Mars were closer. -

Trump Tariffs 2018 Apprentice Episode The Total Cost of U.S. Tariffs Former President Trump unilaterally imposed numerous tariffs on a variety of goods including, but not limited to, imports from China and steel and aluminum imports from across the world, creating upward pressure on prices in the United States. To date, President Biden has replaced only the tariffs on European steel and aluminum and Japanese steel with a tariff-rate quota system, but has kept in place the tariffs for most other countries, including China, and in March of 2023 raised tariffs on Russian aluminum and various other goods in response to the country’s invasion of Ukraine. Based on 2022 import levels, these tariffs currently impact over $350 billion of imports and exports and increase consumer costs by roughly $51 billion annually. https://www.americanactionforum.org/research/the-total-cost-of-tariffs/ -

I should have said "may not work". If you are running a VPN client on the same device as GV, then it should work fine. It does for me. You can test the connectivity by sending/receiving SMSes, and phone calls to/from a contact in the U.S. If I see a problem I test with my second GV number - keeping it active as well - and one of my UltraMobile numbers.
