  1. Until the situation sorts out I'd say be cautious, outdoors, away from people, be aware of CCTV? I would NOT smoke cannabis in a designated tobacco smoking area. But that's just me. Even a hotel balcony may raise alarms with the family of four next door complaining, and then you get a visit by the police. So far I haven't seen any encounters reported, believe the police have been told to avoid a potential PR disaster with a hands-off policy.
  2. I've noticed some coalescence around a very informal four-tier rating system here, with terms like Exotic, Top-Shelf, Mid-Tier and "Reggie" (not sure where that comes from?). It's definitely the wild-west so finding a reliable grower/wholesaler is important. I'm negotiating with a grower to grow specific genetics. And there appears to be boatloads of imported cannabis from the U.S. I saw one sale of 50 Kilos, which would be ~ $440,000 retail (pound price). I've got to think that will cause MAJOR issues as there is little to no local economic benefit. Lastly I've been bargain shopping so look for sale items from those I purchased from previously. I bought an item that had been 600, reduced to 400, then reduced to 250. I would have paid 550 for its quality.
  3. Good selection here: http://syndicateseedbank.com/t/index.html Thai Supplier for Ethos: https://smokinggunofficial.com/ethos
  4. The coup maker(s) granted themselves complete amnesty for any crimes leading up to the coup, and any crimes they might commit as the NCPO. https://prachatai.com/english/node/4236 This was in the interim Charter, which was of course endorsed by the highest authority in the Kingdom.
  5. He finally admitted, late yesterday in testimony, that the government did use Pegasus surveillance software to monitor protesters and drug-runners. If everyone in the government had to resign for cheating then you'd be left with just that "confirmed bachelor" Prawit.
  6. Until the Canabis Control Act is gazetted, and given the current political climate that could be months or even a year or longer, predictions on the retail landscape are challenging. And once that act is gazetted it will take a year or two for all the government organizations empowered by it to issue regulations. Maybe there will be brick/mortar shops in tourist areas selling to short-time visitors. Like the Cannabis Sandbox concepts thrown around by some government officials? For Thais and resident aliens I think we'll continue to use on-line ordering. Right now I'd guess that 80% of sales, by volume/revenue are from on-line. Why do I need to go to a shop? I can watch bud porn at home. Regarding prices, the market is quite young and not really subject to the usual rules given the pent-up demand, and supply (lack of? or too much). In my very limited experience, stocks sell out quite quickly, hours in some cases, at current prices. But there does seem to be too much dirt weed, and wholesesale prices on that have dropped by ~ 25% since 9 June. That "weed" will soon be 1,000 baht/Kg, in a BOGO scheme. Or it will be used as a building supply?
  7. ^ That looks quite good, especially at 350. I'm set on Hazes for a while, looking for a nice Blue Dream and Jack Herer. Seen a few so far, just waiting for something special, and/or on sale.
  8. Bongs are not Illegal. That's different from saying Bongs are legal. Almost anything can be made to be illegal here, if someone wants to press the matter. Heck, playing cards are illegal here, unless you've obtained an import license. Bong Party has been around for years, and there are dozens of other sellers on FB.
  9. Can you post photos of your purchase? Also, anything to help me find this supplier? LINE Shopping? LINE? I see a few Amnesia Haze: High Station OG Farm, Highway-OG, Highsenberg.
  10. Berner = Cookies. https://www.businessinsider.com/the-story-of-cookies-weed-brand-and-berner-2022-6 I enjoyed the Berner/Strain Hunters mash-up with Damian Marley in Jamaica. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WAxdiWSk4kM
  11. Are there any indica strains you've tried and liked? You want to grow outdoors, with no supplemental light? There is a thread on seeds in this sub-forum. "Hash" can be made from Sativas, Indicas or Hybrids. Just push product through a screen (straight from the freezer), or use the Frenchy Canoli method. But yes the hash you like is probably derived from Indica-dominant strains. Growing Indicas outdoors here is possible but the conditions are not ideal, and the results will also be less than ideal. Now, if you wanted to grow indoors then I'd suggest indica-dominant autoflowers. I can recommend Fastbuds autoflower seeds. But if you live in Afghanistan, well...these are indica starins, you can tell from the bushiness of the plant, and the wider leaves.
  12. Yes, I was until they closed and went to an all-online (LINE - Click to order) sales model. https://shop.line.me/@thedispensary.th I was under the impression that they might open a shop in another location, but maybe they want to see what "controls" might be implemented before commiting to a prime space? It's definitely a buyer's market. Quite a few, like dozens new each day, options, especially in the ~ 400 baht/gram (for 3.5 - 5 gram purchases) space. Way too much to choose from so now it's about finding a few reliable sources who can hopefully continue to grow and deliver premium product. In my home state in the U.S. an eighth is $60, plus 20% tax, $72. So prices here are reasonable for me. Even the cartridges and disposables are not too pricey here, certainly more than mail order in the U.S.
  13. Point taken, post deleted, will try to be more civil.
  14. What's in the bag? Provide a link to the sale page, or a photo of any material you have on this soil. If it's some sort of super-soil it may be too hot for germination/seedlings. Most folks create a non-super soil area for germination/seedling. I believe in one pot and not these endless steps of germination gymcrackery, and multiple transplants further stressing the plant. "Trial and error" is unnecessary given to trove of information available on the web. Watch some Youtube videos. If you're growing outside, use a grow bag or air-pot, at least 3, preferrably 5, gallons. Most successful outdoor grows here that I've seen use grow bags - if only so they can move the plants in the event of storms.
  15. The government is taking some heat for their Cannabis legalization in the on-going no-confidence vote. But given all the other problems - "It's ecomony Prayut" - I'm not sure they made a dent on this topic? After all, Parliament has dropped the ball on the Cannabis COntrol Act. Anutin challenged for decriminalisation of cannabis ahead of appropriate legislation Thailand’s Public Health Minister Anutin Charnvirakul was accused today (Tuesday), by the Opposition, of deliberately creating a “legal vacuum” in Thailand, in which there is no law to enable control of the use of cannabis, hemp or their extracts following their decriminalisation last month. Move Forward MP Wayo Assawarungruang said during the first day of the 4-day censure debate, that the absence of laws to enforce restrictions on the use of the substances has exposed Thai youth to their harmful effects. https://www.thaipbsworld.com/anutin-challenged-for-decriminalisation-of-cannabis-ahead-of-appropriate-legislation/ And the rumored Chinese government tourist ban on Thailand because of Cannabis legalization has been shot down. ‘No restrictions on Chinese tourists visiting Thailand’ due to cannabis China has not imposed any restrictions on its citizens travelling to Thailand due to legalisation of cannabis by Bangkok, China’s embassy clarified in a Facebook post on Tuesday. https://www.nationthailand.com/in-focus/40017923
  16. Busy catching 230 kilos of marijuana, police do not dare to prosecute fear of being sued Officers in Bueng Kan arrested 3 young men carrying 230 kg of marijuana carried by boats across the Mekong from neighboring countries. Caught and did not dare to impose fines because the price of the product has not yet been specified Cannot be referenced as a median price to be compared and adjusted. Still don't know if it's a drug or not. preliminary prosecution "Together to bring prohibited items into the Kingdom without going through customs formalities." https://www.thairath.co.th/news/local/northeast/2448621?fbclid=IwAR2HeeNGb6kZPQ9p03QxJRiQPSdxT6MVIkYxbABIwzO9yFYX-fqbL5x6_-8 Typically the harvest is closer to October.
  17. Yeah, saw these pop up over the last week or so, after hearing rumors of shops being approached. I did come close to purchasing an eighth yesterday, 2,550, but there were no Sativa options; all hybrid or indica. And I am reticent to appear to not be supporting Thai growers. I'm not sure how "legal" this is? In the U.S., most states have seed-to-sale tracking making it nearly impossible for even grams to "fall off the truck". And I'm not sure if it's legal to import cannabis into Thailand? It may be that it is currently "not illegal"? From an article on the first reading of the Cannabis Control Act: "Currently, only imports of cannabis for medical purposes, research and for official use will be permitted." "Official use"? Hmm. I'm often surprised at the number of cartridges/disposables, from the U.S., available here, 1 gram at 2,600, and those are obviously illegal.
  18. https://www.doa.go.th/pvp/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/AnnoDOA_Public241.pdf Maybe give a spoiler alert before dashing hopes. ???? I'm actually surprised these figures are so high. Maybe from ideally grown crops at Maejo? I'd be shocked if brick weed, on average, is much above 3% THC. Is there any significance to the color of the wrapping paper? Is "Gold" better than "Red"? Still amazed they can even give this stuff away now.

  20. Are you growing indoors or outside? If a greenhouse, do you have supplemental light? How many plants per cycle? Photos or autoflowers? I assume you want feminized seeds. If you're going to take the time to grow something I wouldn't try to save money on seeds. I'd over-spend on seeds, if anything. Maybe decide on 3 ~ 5 strains, then look for at least three different genetics for those strains. Then see what you can buy easily. Then run 1 each at first, or 2 or 3 X if you want. I'd purchase seeds from a Thai supplier/importer; there are ~ ten-ish recognized suppliers. Yes, you'll pay more - shudder - but they handle all the payment and logistics. https://www.facebook.com/STONERthaiseed https://www.facebook.com/groups/1370331533389375 There are more; but these are all I could dig up in a few minutes. There are Thai-centric private groups on FB; I've been out of the seed game for many months, but will post local sources here when they pop up.
  21. Yes, the Green Crack name seems to have been hijacked, maybe Green <deleted> is more appropriate? I think they "wash" the brick weed to make it appear to cannabis-like. https://www.reddit.com/r/cannabisinbrazil/comments/lycghh/how_to_wash_the_brick_weed/ Some of the photos on this thread don't appear to even be pyschoactive cannabis. I just can't imagine setting fire to that stuff and then inhaling it?
  22. https://www.royalqueenseeds.com/blog-marijuana-pruning-topping-vs-fimming-n621 Six to ten weeks.
  23. Same for me, from a different supplier though. Totally awesome product. Not in the cheapest weed category though.
