    Fig and Mullberry trees fruit better when you do this. They grow back very quickly and start flowering. I've done it 3 times to this mango tree. Last time was about 2 years ago.

    When we lived in the US we hired a handyman to do some work on our house. The next week he was shot dead by his son. His son had asked him for some money and he didn't give it to him.

    possible yes. legal no. Keep the order under 1,500 baht and it should go through but no guarantee. I don't know how the new law about charging VAT on all items mailed into Thailand will affect them checking even the small packages.

    I have mango trees that are flowering right now. One for the second time. Growing fruit from seed you are not likely to get the same exact fruit as the parent. There are a few mango varieties that grow true from seed from what I have read. They are called polyembryonic varieties. It is also possible that a mango grown from seed will be sterile and never fruit.

    Very nice gesture. The man has a good heart. It pains me when I see a motorbike with an adult and 1-4 kids on it and only the adult is wearing a helmet. But mostly none of them are wearing helmets. I guess the police don't fine you if the driver is wearing a helmet even if the others are not. I think the main reason you see people wearing helmets is just to avoid a fine, not for safety.

    I know SCB calls to ask what the money is for if it is over $20,000 US. All they really want to know is if it is for personal use or for purchasing property. Also as TOPT mentioned when they called me they would tell me the rate but then tell me they were going to give me a better rate. I guess because of the size of the transfer.
