Nothing will ever be done. Just pile in 40,60,80 million tourists if you can destroy the environment. Money, money, money. -

Monetization of YouTube
bkk6060 replied to JetsetBkk's topic in Jobs, Economy, Banking, Business, Investments
OK, but I am not really talking about content at all. I am talking about monetizing. A person can open a channel, walk around for 10 minutes and show a stream in Bangkok, then buy 1000 subs and buy views. You Tube actually knows about this and excourages it, as it then and make money to advertise on the channel. There are many many fake channels out there. 1000's of subs when in reality they have very few. https://www.qqtube.com/buy-youtube-subscribers -
Get out now. Your kid is 3 she will ask where you are then soon forget about you. Save yourself.

Monetization of YouTube
bkk6060 replied to JetsetBkk's topic in Jobs, Economy, Banking, Business, Investments
Right, and I am sure you realize anyone can buy all that. Anyone can start a channel and pay for Subs, views, likes or anything. Start a channel and a few days later you are good to go. -

Many are in Thailand doing this. GIve it a shot. -
Donkey milk is actually referred to as White Gold. It runs about $160 for 2 litres. So many other things are much cheaper then home countries seems kind of odd to complain about something that is 1 dollar more. But, I guess if one is poor or on a very tight budget it could be a problem.

Thais love the CHinese EV's. Who buys a Subaru or Suzuki anyway not sure I have seen more then a few of these cars on the road. When was the last time Thailand invented or started something significant? Most of the companies here come from someplace else. The Internet infrastructure is pretty good, but where are the future jobs especially in technology? Ask many people from around the world what Thailand is known for and they will tell you: Food, beaches, prostitutes and car crashes. That about explains it.

Opening Thai bank account using an agent.
bkk6060 replied to Finspin's topic in Jobs, Economy, Banking, Business, Investments
I certainly disagree you can just walk into Bangkok Bank or any bank and open an account on a tourist Visa. Maybe years ago. But now, they mostly want supporting documents such as letters of reference, certificate of residency, work permit, rental agreement and possibly some other requirements. Maybe one can get lucky and the bank will accept you as some branches have different requirements. I got my account years ago using an agent. Worth the cost for a no hassle way to open an account. -
I get messages from some group in Bangkok including photos to have sex with women.

Woman Sells Home for 1.5 Million Baht to Escape Noisy Neighbours
bkk6060 replied to webfact's topic in Isaan News
Lots of Expats in the same situation. Thought they bought the dream noisy neighbors or bars driving them insane, they can't wait to get out. -
DV can be a slow escalation of violence. Starts with yelling, progresses to more and more physical violence especially if there is not intervention. I would at least call the police and tell them there is a disturbance going on at that apartment and try to get them out there. At least that gets them in the loop of what is going on. Very sad situation that can end terribly.

What treatment/antibiotics for prostate stones/UTI?
bkk6060 replied to simon43's topic in Health and Medicine
When I had it a urine sample for similar it showed nothing. A semen sample then cultured showed the infection. 3 weeks of antibiotics and it was mostly gone, but seemed to linger for several months until 100%. -
I have done a 180 on Thailand medical care. I don't like to hear from a Doctor or Dentist " Oh, I don't know what to do". Or, being misdiagnosed or overdiagnosed. I now just bite the bullet and fly back home for care or procedures.

Do Thai men get jealous we take all the hot women?
bkk6060 replied to MalcolmB's topic in ASEAN NOW Community Pub
Yes, I believe Thai males are jealous. The ladies though prefer Asian men with money. So, Korean and Japanese seem to have the best chances. An old shriveled up alcoholic expat with a lousy 35,000 b a month pension is not at the top of their list. -
What you think about Asian wife's or Girlfriends
bkk6060 replied to still kicking's topic in ASEAN NOW Community Pub
Many of the Asian women disgust me. Koreans are too big, Chinese look odd some sort of improportion between their legs and torso just not attractive. The others I could really careless about. I only like dating Thai women and only watch Thai porn. Just the best I think. -
I would be more concerned about the fraud by fellow expats then these insurance companies. I have had conversations with representatives of some of these companies including WR Life. People getting a plan and opting for the monthly payment option. Then, a few months later making claims for long type of illnesses that they probably knew about prior to their application. They suddenly get diabetes, cancer, heart disease.. Many of these claims are rejected with the suspicion of fraud, as they should be. So, stop the lies and making things more difficult for the legit people who want insurance if they infact have a future illness.

Thailand Moves to Legalise Casinos in Tourism Boost
bkk6060 replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Bali Hai harbor plenty of room. Knock down the abandoned condo build a big casino complex with shops and restaurants would be awesome. But, I bet they will start at some of the less popular areas with airports to get more tourists there. Maybe Khon Kaen?
