Then they are the ones you should contact so they can rectify the problem. Do check the oil level on the stick yourself before using the car!!

Then learn that it is a requirement in Koh Samui. If you file a TM30 today then it should have the dates from "today" to the end date of your permitted to stay stamp. So for me (and KhunPer) it means that we have to file a new TM30 just before applying for a new yearly extension and include a copy of the TM30 receipt together with the other documents.

my dentist since 20 years back.. are you dyslectic?
-
You really believe I had it done 20 years ago?
-
No, it is in Samui by a dentist who doesn't do dual pricing. I may have got some discount (1000-2000 baht) for being a long time customer but you should not have to pay more than 25000 for the same job anywhere in Thailand.

I've had 2 root canal + ceramic crown done by my dentist since 20 years back, 8000 for root canal treatment and 12000 for a crown. BPH is just overly expensive in everything they do.

Where to park the 800,000 THB?
lom replied to Hanaguma's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
It won't as they ask for both bank statement letter and copy of bankbook. -

So what do you tell immigration when they ask for "copy of bankbook, show last 12 month" when oing the yearly extension of stay? -
Motor bearing problem or faulty capacitor (if the pump has one).

It is obviously not an installation made by a Thai "electrician", they wouldn't use Schneider breakers and they wouldn't use blue wire for neutral and brown wire for live which is a European standard. The connection between ground busbar and neutral busbar is done with a jumper wire in Europe, not with the main circuit breaker. I agree that the main circuit breaker is faulty and has to be replaced.

They don't listen to you, eh?

There is no customs fee between China and Thailand because of the China-Asean Free Trade Agreement. I've bought solar equipment worth many hundred thousand bahts from Alibaba and I frequently buy goods from AliExpress and I've never paid any customs fee.

If the fan not works then the symptom will be exactly those that the OP described, A/C radiator being cooled down enough when car is moving at speed but not enough when standing still or moving slowly. Those electric fans are a common cause of failure on older cars.

KPlus of Kasikorn on multiple devices?
lom replied to david888's topic in Jobs, Economy, Banking, Business, Investments
Yes you can move it when you change telephone and that is easy if you keep the old phone number. If you change number then you'll have to go to your bank office and have your number changed. First installation can not be done over wifi, must be done over your sim cards internet. -
KPlus of Kasikorn on multiple devices?
lom replied to david888's topic in Jobs, Economy, Banking, Business, Investments
You can't do that, the app is tied to your phone number at install time. You can apply for browser web access to KBank and that is the only way to access KBank from two devices. -

huawei sun 2000 vs deye inverter
lom replied to steve187's topic in Alternative/Renewable Energy Forum
Make sure you get a Deye branded one, Deye makes inverters for a couple of other companies like LV Topsun, Sol-Ark, SunSynk and they all share the same hardware platform but the firmware differs between them. Deye branded inverters have a brilliant function in their firmware which they call "Time of use", it lets you specify battery usage during six daily 4-hour time slots. You can there set up the depth of discharge you allow in a time slot, a battery power limit during the time slot, and you can also choose to charge the battery from the grid if depth of discharge is lower than your set value when entering a new time slot. I have read users manuals for umpteen different inverters and this is a function that I've not found elsewhere, it was one of the reasons why I did choose a hybrid Deye inverter. -
and that is exactly the reason why I avoid being registered for a two-night stay in Bangkok or Hua Hin. The pink Id card has my birth date and my full address but no passport number It is a valid Thai Id document and so far it has always been accepted as such by the hotels I've stayed at. I would probably be a bit more interested in doing that if Immigration followed their regulations.. I'm also a house owner and has lived at the same address for more than 20 years, I don't necessarily agree that I should have to report my address (TM30) once per year while at the same time doing it another four times per year (TM47) and that just because they have misplaced their old TM30 database. At least I didn't have to make a hand drawn map this year and they didn't notice that my stamp in the bank book was two days old...
