  1. The Mrs and I gave the road to Tessaban when we divided land into plots, that made the road public and made it much easier for us to sell the plots. It was a simple thing to register in the Land Office.
  2. Then they are the ones you should contact so they can rectify the problem. Do check the oil level on the stick yourself before using the car!!
  3. Then learn that it is a requirement in Koh Samui. If you file a TM30 today then it should have the dates from "today" to the end date of your permitted to stay stamp. So for me (and KhunPer) it means that we have to file a new TM30 just before applying for a new yearly extension and include a copy of the TM30 receipt together with the other documents.
  4. my dentist since 20 years back.. are you dyslectic?
  5. You really believe I had it done 20 years ago?
  6. No, it is in Samui by a dentist who doesn't do dual pricing. I may have got some discount (1000-2000 baht) for being a long time customer but you should not have to pay more than 25000 for the same job anywhere in Thailand.
  7. I've had 2 root canal + ceramic crown done by my dentist since 20 years back, 8000 for root canal treatment and 12000 for a crown. BPH is just overly expensive in everything they do.
  8. So the patients in the ambulances you hear they all die? There is possibly 60 severe traffic accidents every month but certainly not 60 road deaths, that is a huge exaggeration.
  9. You get your queue number on the bottom floor after they have checked that your documents are in order.
  10. You mean bypassing the station that checks that all your documents are in order? Good try but I can't imagine that will work..
  11. It won't as they ask for both bank statement letter and copy of bankbook.
  12. So what do you tell immigration when they ask for "copy of bankbook, show last 12 month" when oing the yearly extension of stay?
  13. Motor bearing problem or faulty capacitor (if the pump has one).
  14. It is obviously not an installation made by a Thai "electrician", they wouldn't use Schneider breakers and they wouldn't use blue wire for neutral and brown wire for live which is a European standard. The connection between ground busbar and neutral busbar is done with a jumper wire in Europe, not with the main circuit breaker. I agree that the main circuit breaker is faulty and has to be replaced.
  15. I printed it since it should be included in the document stack. https://aseannow.com/topic/1102143-an-idiots-guide-to-the-retirement-extension-process-at-samui-immigration-office/?do=findComment&comment=18279727
  16. The checks takes 4 weeks so he'll need to go back to Pakistan unless he can find a less stringent embassy then the one in Vientiane.
  17. There is no customs fee between China and Thailand because of the China-Asean Free Trade Agreement. I've bought solar equipment worth many hundred thousand bahts from Alibaba and I frequently buy goods from AliExpress and I've never paid any customs fee.
  18. If the fan not works then the symptom will be exactly those that the OP described, A/C radiator being cooled down enough when car is moving at speed but not enough when standing still or moving slowly. Those electric fans are a common cause of failure on older cars.
