I enjoy listening to Dr. Peterson. He is practical and has a firm foundation of common sense. Another really good discussion he has on YouTube is with Russell Brand. I was amazed. I bought and read a portion of his book, "12 Rules for life". This brings me to my 'primary' comment. His book and some of his discussions are so 'cerebral'. What I mean is his work is spot on but it takes me a lot of time to listen and read, then reread his book and discussion. Even RUssell is unbelievably intellectual. BUT, 100%, Peterson is right. about woke culture. We should not be compelled to call a man a woman or a woman a man just because they 'feel' they're not the same as their biological sex. Compelled is the operative word. Even Peterson admitted when asked 'nicely' that he has no problem to call the person by their 'new' name. (but the theys, thems and zees, etc are not acceptable).

I've always like former PM Chuan Leekpai. He was steadily building the Thai economy back after the money crash in 1997. His governess was solid and back by good sound financial principles, but... it was too slow and Thaksin came in promising the moon... except for the people in the South. He only had a baseball bat for them. Yes, they were an impediment to progress in the South, but his bullies attacked rather than maneuvering around the lies of the NGOs who were filling the populous with horror stories.

Most of you know very little about the hard working honest Thai people. I've worked with them in the petroleum drilling and production business. They are very competent people and are more than capable of building, operating and maintaining a nuclear facility. I'm sure they will be at least, if not more, competent than the US Americans and Russians. (Three mile Island and Chernobyl come to mind).

It is very sad event to lose one's son and at such a young age in those terrible circumstances. What's not mentioned in the article was Mr. Al Fayed's investment/adventure into the Petroleum business. He acquired 4 exploration concessions in the Gulf of Thailand in 1998/99 and commenced an exploration program mid 1999. On one of those concessions oil was discovered, which his team of managers, engineers, geologists and supervisors delineated over the remain year and 2000. The company was awarded a production/development concession, named the Jasmine field, in the years that followed. He sold it to Mubadala Oil Company, who have developed it into a wonderful asset in the GOT. I was lucky to be selected to work for Harrods in 1999 & 2000. I had the fortune of meet Mr. Al Fayed on a couple of occasions. He was a really nice, honest man and apparently had a Midas touch with his companies and investments. I am sad to hear he has passed away. Rest in Peace Mohamed.
