International driving license for Thai local licence
brewsterbudgen replied to Lamphen's topic in Thailand Motor Discussion
Good to know, thanks. I'm surprised the fussy French accept English or Thai and don't demand Francais! -
International driving license for Thai local licence
brewsterbudgen replied to Lamphen's topic in Thailand Motor Discussion
A IDP is certainly not required to drive in the UK, as a Thai licence is printed in English. Not so sure about all countries in Europe though. -
Did you read his post? He's applying for his daughter's passport.

Question about registering UK marriage
brewsterbudgen replied to bobl's topic in Q&A, Ask the Consular Team
Possibly a more up-to-date link here: https://www.gov.uk/get-document-legalised/apply-for-legalisation Definitely easier to do if you're in the UK, but apparently can now be done online. -
apostille and or notary service
brewsterbudgen replied to Vampyteuthis's topic in Visas and migration to other countries
On the contrary, many of us have had to do exactly what the OP is asking. This is how Forums work. All the Embassy will do (if they respond at all) is refer him to the website I've already listed. -

All the UK Embassy will do is refer you to the gov.uk website. All the answers are there, although the OP has received good advice here, which is what the Forum is for. https://www.gov.uk/get-document-legalised/apply-for-legalisation -

WRLife medical insurance - experiences?
brewsterbudgen replied to bradiston's topic in Health and Medicine
You're welcome to your views and many have posted similar doubts, including @Sheryl whose opinions are much respected, on other threads about WRLife. This thread is about pooling experiences of using the company, not scaremongering. I'm not cancelling unless my broker advises me to. As he recommended the policy, I doubt he will, although I will mention your concerns at renewal. Now you've made your point, why not let this thread run as it was intended? -
As long as it's in your will.
