  1. A very long and grizzly list of barbaric acts in this article Ukraine: Apparent War Crimes in Russia-Controlled Areas Summary Executions, Other Grave Abuses by Russian Forces These include a case of repeated rape; two cases of summary execution, one of six men, the other of one man; and other cases of unlawful violence and threats against civilians between February 27 and March 14, 2022 “The cases we documented amount to unspeakable, deliberate cruelty and violence against Ukrainian civilians,” said Hugh Williamson, Europe and Central Asia director at Human Rights Watch. “Rape, murder, and other violent acts against people in the Russian forces’ custody should be investigated as war crimes.” https://www.hrw.org/news/2022/04/03/ukraine-apparent-war-crimes-russia-controlled-areas
  2. If your going to call a spade a spade then perhaps look to Russia who have far more corruption than Ukraine.
  3. No problem, I don't agree with your conclusion however. I personally believe they will have all businesses open and the test and go requirements gone within a couple of months or sooner. Fingers crossed.
  4. Pure speculation on your part, Thai officials classified them as under 60 with no known underlying conditions. The rest of your post is nonsense
  5. Its just been found recently so obviously more reliable stats are needed although they also said: The WHO report echoes the 11 March UK Health Security Agency report which said, "As of 22 March 2022, there are 637 XE cases in England. These are geographically distributed across England and increasing in number, with the first case detected via sequencing on 19 January 2022, and most cases in East of England, London, and the South East... The median growth rate is +9.8 per cent per week. Numbers were too small for the XE recombinant to be analysed by region." From the UKHSA latest update: "We run a statistical model to calculate the probability of a sampled genome being from the novel variant vs from the control over time. Growth rates are calculated per week or per day and are expressed on a log scale. A logistic growth rate of 0.5 per week indicates that the variant is increasing by a multiplicative factor of exp (0.5) =1.65 per week in comparison to the control. A logistic growth rate of zero would indicate no difference in growth rates between the 2 variants." https://assets.publishing.service.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/1063424/Tech-Briefing-39-25March2022_FINAL.pdf
  6. Thats all we need..........???? WHO warns against new mutant 'XE' variant of Omicron; says more transmissible than any strain of COVID-19 This new variant is a recombinant strain, meaning it is a mutant hybrid of the two previous versions of the Omicron variant, BA.1 and BA.2, which spread across the world when it first became a variant of concern
  7. By transferring Soviet made tanks, the Biden administration makes clear what it thinks about Macron’s “red line”. “Emmanuel Macron, has declared that providing Ukraine with tanks and planes would cross a ‘red line’ turning nato into a ‘co-belligerent’.” US will reportedly help Ukraine by sending Soviet-made tanks The deliveries will enable Ukraine to conduct long-range artillery strikes, the New York Times reports.
  8. Some truly sickening videos and photos of the murdered civilians lying in the streets, hands tied behind their back, men women, children and mass graves in area's that the Russian forces left behind in the hours before. This first tweet from a Ukraine Ambassador to Austria in part sums it up: Yesterday was a good day - #Russia was chased away from #Kyiv oblast. Today is a bad day: we saw what it left behind. As someone who speaks Russian as one of my mother tongues & who likes Russian culture, I’m literally speechless. Forget Tolstoy & Tchaikovsky. Russia means barbarism now. “We found 18 bodies in there,” he said. “They had been torturing people. Some of them had their ears cut off. Others had teeth pulled out. There were kids, 14, 16 years old, some adults” Bodies of mutilated children among horrors the Russians left behind https://www.thetimes.co.uk/article/bodies-of-mutilated-children-among-horrors-the-russians-left-behind-5ddnkkwp2 2 women and 4 men were shot in the nape. Some have their hands tied behind their backs. This is Motyzhyn in Kyiv oblast, local telegram channel reports. This is genocide. Systemic massive execution of people only because they are Ukrainians Hardened as we are by Russian atrocities, reports coming in from liberated towns around Kyiv document acts of horrifying, inhuman cruelty and evil, coaches of children used as human shields; corpses left on streets of civilians with hands tied behind back, many shot in head. 300 person mass grave. 5 dead bodies of naked women in the middle of the road. Looted houses. More bodies everywhere. Destroyed buildings. #Bucha #Irpin after #Russia retreats Horrific scenes from the Ukrainian city of Bucha. Bodies of civilians massacred by Russian troops are scattered all over the city.
  9. PCR test positive cases, total of 26,840 official new infections. 97 official covid deaths recorded. Rapid tests positive cases, 20,495 bringing the total of PCR and ATK results to 47,335 https://ddc.moph.go.th/covid19-dashboard/ OWD rolling 7 day average, cases and deaths up to 1st March https://ourworldindata.org/coronavirus/country/thailand
  10. A former chief prosecutor for UN war crimes tribunals has called for Russian President Vladimir Putin to be arrested over the invasion of Ukraine. Switzerland's Carla Del Ponte said international arrest warrants should be issued against Putin and other senior Russian officials. "Putin is a war criminal," Del Ponte served as chief prosecutor on the UN international criminal tribunals for the former Yugoslavia and for Rwanda. An investigation into possible war crimes in Ukraine was launched last month after Russia was accused of bombing civilians. The International Criminal Court (ICC) chief prosecutor, the UK's Karim Khan, said evidence was being collected on alleged war crimes, crimes against humanity and genocide. https://www.bbc.com/news/live/world-europe-60949706
  11. If thats got something to do with the war in Ukraine and on topic, feel free to provide a link to your claims so I can review it. In the meantime I suggest all those questions should be something for you to reflect on.
  12. More good news here................ UK missile shoots down first Russian helicopter in Ukraine war Britain’s most advanced portable missile system is thought to have shot down a Russian helicopter in its first use on the Ukrainian battlefield. Starstreak, a high-velocity projectile that destroys targets with three kinetic darts, was filmed cutting the aircraft in two over the Luhansk region in the east of the country. Footage of the attack shows the tungsten spears breaking the tail off the Mi-28N, after Ukrainians using British techniques opened fire. https://www.thetimes.co.uk/article/uk-missile-shoots-down-first-russian-helicopter-in-ukraine-war-tztnmxqr2 Video of the strike is here: "The Times is reporting that this shootdown of a Russian Mi-28 was by a British Starstreak SAM" https://twitter.com/Osinttechnical/status/1510094022970417160
  13. I have a few friends that moderate inappropriate comments on their blogs also.............. What did you censor and just how long ago was that?
  14. We, as in the west have free media that is not censored by state controls. Free media that if you pop over to Fox news and the like you can tune into Putin apologists such Tucker Carlson. Free media means the right of newspapers, magazines, etc., to report news without being controlled by the government. Investigative journalism that uncovers and exposes corruption without being fearful of getting murdered by the state. Do they have that in Russia, 15 years onyone for saying its a war?
  15. The Department of Disease Control has refuted a suggestion that it has been distorting the number of daily COVID-19 cases, identified using rapid antigen tests, to give an impression that there are fewer infections in the country. Dr. Chakkarat Pittayawonganon, director of the Bureau of Epidemiology of the Department of Disease Control, said that the infection numbers reported by the department come from the central “dashboard”, which compiles the figures obtained from all hospitals and health offices nationwide. The anticipated surge means that there will be more cases of lung inflammation, which will require ventilators for treatment. https://www.thaipbsworld.com/thailand-confirms-accurate-reporting-of-positive-covid-19-antigen-tests/?
  16. There are crazies on Russian TV daily spouting their rhetoric but it also extends to education. Andrei Sidorov of Moscow State University who happens to be the Dean of the School of World Politics dept said this: "I am not sure that #Ukraine, like many other small states, should retain its #sovereignty after our special operation. In today's world, sovereignty is based, whether we like it or not, on force".
  17. Yes I was going to send you that link. Great that the BBC shows both sides of the coin unlike the censored Russian media
  18. No because you qualified that with "death issue for the really old and frail" Yes it can cause death for younger people even when they have no underlying conditions
  19. No it can be read as a direct counter to your claim that "Omicron becomes a life/death issue for the really old and frail"
  20. Just another one to add to the list yet we still have some swearing allegiance to it.
  21. Adding to that. What is also happening in the retreat is evidence of the war crimes they committed including slaughtering and burning innocent civilians who are left in the roads. BBC: Ukraine war: Gruesome evidence points to war crimes on road outside Kyiv Some of the evidence the BBC gathered is too disturbing to show in full. Here a dead man has been covered by rubber tyres. Attempts have been made to destroy the other bodies. Some have been left to rot where they were killed. But other corpses have been piled up and surrounded by tyres. Charred clothing indicates attempts were made to set fires around them. Tyres are flammable and must have been placed there as an accelerant. Separate & further evidence in this twitter video: "It's almost as if Russians have withdrawn for all the world to see the horrors they left behind" https://twitter.com/olgatokariuk/status/1509992795137789955
  22. Yesterday 6 of the deaths (7%) were under age 60 with no known chronic conditions
  23. PCR test positive cases, total of 28,029 official new infections. 96 official covid deaths recorded. Rapid tests positive cases, 14,229 bringing the total of PCR and ATK results to 42,258 https://ddc.moph.go.th/covid19-dashboard/ OWD rolling 7 day average, cases and deaths up to 31st March https://ourworldindata.org/coronavirus/country/thailand
  24. Video here of the actual strike within Russia by 2 helicopters from Ukraine: Russia accuses Ukraine of helicopter strikes on fuel depot in Russian territory https://edition.cnn.com/2022/04/01/europe/russia-ukraine-belgorod-fire-intl/index.html
