  1. I'd say a good service then but maybe it's time to consider moving too.
  2. I'd say so. I'm particularly afraid of Basketball Americans when they get angry driving. Even though Thais are more dangerous they will very rarely exit their car to start fights. There's entire road rage channels on YouTube with nothing but fights breaking out over driving which is commonplace in Thailand.
  3. Apparently the Chinese woman bumps into the man with his Thai wife and the man isn't backing down so an altercation ensues. Classy folks. The interesting part are the comments. Look at the hate the Thais are bashing on the Chinese. 😂 To be fair they're sick on foreigners in Phuket in general too though. Posting text because apparently you can't paste images directly anymore without a link??? Not a welcome change. Chinese tourists I met Eating in a restaurant, talking very loudly, no manners at all. China likes to bump into people without apologizing. Does China really know how to apologize? She really wants to apologize. Have you ever seen me drive? A group of Chinese people filled the street, honking their horns, and women avoided them. But men don't know why. We had to deviate into the opposite lane. Good thing there aren't any cars in the park. I've encountered many cases. Out of three Chinese people, only one person has manners. But in this case, we don't know the facts. You have to listen to the other side first. Listen to the news... Sorry, I want to be on a foreign team (not Chinese). Guessing from experience, it's probably the Chinese who walk around and don't care about anyone or stand in the way and don't care about anyone. After that, let's guess.
  4. The treasury department you don't say? This is almost certainly B.S. but it's going to take too much time to figure out why and I don't care enough (probably one of their indexes is deceptive like the CPI). They control the money supply and they're responsible for creating so much currency so they have a vested interest in lying about their performance. Also it's reported by NBC, corporate, regime controlled media. Lying to Americans in advance of the next election to bolster their interests. You know this is garbage information but who has the time to debunk it.
  5. If I had a quarter for every "... is going to be underwater" story I've heard over the last 30 years I'd be rich!
  6. Ann Coulter is great. She said she wouldn't vote for Vivek because he was an Indian. I like Vivek quite a lot but not enough Americans understand ethnic solidarity in a country where they're going to become a minority.
  7. This is my greatest fear driving in Thailand. They pass so close I'm shocked I don't see this happen everyday.
  8. I'd rather get COVID than be exposed to hordes of Chinese pushing and shouting. They could so easily destroy cities like Chiang Mai and obliterate the property market in a few years like they did in Vancouver and other cities around the world. Imagine the new 5 year visa and a train directly into CM. Game over if that happens.
  9. this is obvious and well documented. Please the person who gave the "confused face" reaction come forward and explain what's so confusing about this statement.
  10. A train from China going directly into Thailand is a nightmare. If it carries passengers it has the capacity to ruin entire cities. Horrifying stuff.
  11. that and moo ga ta make me feel sick afterwards every time. It's the most boring thing possible, plain meat (lowest quality) dipped in some sauce over and over again. barf.
  12. Walking in CM sucks and this is from a person who hikes miles in mountains when I'm in USA. You'll be covered in sweat and very few roads have sidewalks. It's ok in the winter (Singapore is still hot probably then?) but even so there's not much walkable area except a few zones. Everyone uses a motorbike for a reason.
  13. curious, what does tropics have to do with it? I'd just rather ride my motorbike than some light rail. Only if I had a daily commute to work I would use it. Oh, if it went to the airport I would use it 1-2 times a year. Hardly worth it.
  14. I blame regime controlled media for the divide and conquer tactics but it's up to Americans to back down and respect their neighbors in other states which I don't seem them doing. Unless the federal government is reduced down 90% and power given back to the states the fighting will continue. Back in Boulder Colorado for one more week. Look what the kids did to my parents sign. 😂
  15. That makes no sense for CM. This must be a pipe dream of some politicians. Hopefully they never start this project and tear up miles of road which will never get completed.
  16. where are they going to run tracks on those roads though? Everything is built right up to the road already so unless they replace an entire lane for the tracks I don't see an option. Traffic is bad enough on those roads and they could spare removing a lane.
  17. This is never going to happen in Chiang Mai. You need transportation to get the light rail and once you're in the city you still need transportation because the city is not walkable and it's too hot to walk anyways (really only tourists walk in CM and they stay inside the city anyways ). I could think of a very few scenarios where this could be useful and even so it would require parking at the train stops outside the city or it would be totally useless. This isn't just me, I see Thai people even less interested in trains when they have personal cars.
  18. I can't believe you passed up on that amazing opportunity. Better luck next time.
  19. Nice try with your new visa scheme but 4,555,262 x 0 = 0. Better luck next time.
  20. Reminds me of the "good evening cowards" guy.
  21. The woman recording the video sounds like she's either orgasming or having a stroke.
  22. RIP but there's not enough information here to learn anything. Was the guy simply on the side of the road and the car plowed in to him? He could have not been familiar with the myriad dangerous driving techniques in Thailand and thought he had the "right of way" which doesn't exist. Maybe he was doing something dangerous and stupid himself.
  23. I've never paid for sex but it seems like a convenient service to be able to get on some app and have a girl come to your house for a little while. Are you a lazy bum if you go out to eat instead of prepare your own meals? Ditto for sex services.
  24. hub of adult entertainment?
