I didn't mind him as Bond in the first couple of films, but the franchise quickly fell apart, with the last three being the worst Bond films ever. The franchise is toast now.

While I agree, the one difference is that I don't believe that Bond is a realistic representation that will influence me to make radical, destructive changes in my life. I might decide I need to work out, or perhaps dress a little better, but those aren't necessarily destructive things. I certainly don't watch Bond and think that I'm going to become a spy or take over the world. Sadly, the same cannot be said for Sex and The City. Many women believe that SATC is practical guide book on how a woman should live a good life and what realistic goals she should have. These women have subsequently been left completely alone in their 30s, wondering where their wealthy business man is (who finds them totally captivating simply for being them), after a youth spent partying.

That's what I try to tell myself. They're never truly happy, the people around them hate them, they had a miserable childhood, and so on.

Well, they're fantasy and aimed at men. To complain of them being unrealistic or sexist for this reason is kind of pointless. You could change them, if you want, but then no one would watch them.

The world is jam-packed full of nasty, selfish idiots, always scheming and trying to take advantage of others, and they often win. If you find a smart and kind person, you should really try to keep hold of them.

It's absolutely chilling. There aren't a lot of details on it, but I wonder if the child reacted to someone saying they have to refer to someone as a "she" by saying "But he's a boy". Children are innocent and say things in a very honest and matter of fact way, which fits the definition of transphobia a lot of people have, sadly.

Does a retirement of relaxation and exercise really sound that bad? Throw in some reading or some other hobby, and it sounds pretty good. Some nice coffee whilst reading/watching the news, breakfast, a couple of hours in the gym, a gentle swim, some reading/researching something, a more creative hobby as well, why is that so bad? Is that not a routine? What do you want to be doing?

In my experience, give them a try, then see if you get sick. If you don't get sick, it's probably alright.

It's important to note that the Dems, plus a lot of Dem supporters (even some on this forum) were fully aware that Biden had dementia and was not fit to serve, but chose to lie and try to suppress that fact, even stooping as low as to suggest that a man who forgets what he is talking about, who people are, or where he is, is simply the effect of a speech impediment.

He was made to step away after the debate as the Dems realised they couldn't hide his dementia with lies anymore.

I'm sure you're probably just trolling, but word-salad-Harris was a terrible candidate and her not getting elected had nothing to do with misogyny. It's a miracle she got as many votes as she did.

Funny you should say that, I just watched a video about the anti-Tesla madness and the commenter suggested that the reason a lot of these anti-Trump/Elon people are boomers is due to the fact that they are only used to watching MSM on TV so have no idea about finding independent journalism like younger people do today.
