WISE Question
Phulublub replied to Neeranam's topic in Jobs, Economy, Banking, Business, Investments
I emailled from within the website after logging in, so don't know, and checked on mobile app where account -> Help -> Scroll down -> Contact Us gets you to a similar "Email Us" message box The reply came from [email protected] which may get a response - but suggest you do as I did and send from within website or app. PH -
WISE Question
Phulublub replied to Neeranam's topic in Jobs, Economy, Banking, Business, Investments
While that is correct, that is for Thailand Cards. I had an answer to my query: ______________________________ Hello, Thanks for getting in touch. For the Wise card, the delivery address doesn’t have to be the address on your account. For instance, you can order the card to your office, or to a friend or relative’s place. Just be aware that the estimated standard delivery time may take up to three weeks to arrive, depending on the destination. Read more: Can I get my new card delivered abroad? Hope this answers your query. Do let us know if you have any questions. ______________________ Clicking on the link gives us: International delivery is available for Wise cards for most regions. Europe and UK For the first order, personal cards can be delivered and activated in Europe only. Replacement cards can be delivered internationally. Business cards have international delivery as an option for the first and replacement orders. Australia, New Zealand, Japan and Singapore Personal and business cards have international delivery as an option for the first and replacement orders. Malaysia and Canada Personal cards have international delivery as an option for the first and replacement orders. USA and Brazil International delivery is not available at the moment. ___________________ So, for the OP (and anyone else) in Europe, a replacement card can be sent here HTH PH -
WISE Question
Phulublub replied to Neeranam's topic in Jobs, Economy, Banking, Business, Investments
Is that for a card connected to a Thai Baht denominated account, or for delivery of a GBP or EURO denominated account. Or is there no difference? I have a Wise card sitting in UK waiting for me to pick up when I next go visit. Not in a hurry, so no personal involvement in this, but interesting nonetheless and have emailled WISE to ask if they will deliver a card to an address other than that registered with the account. How do I pay my electricity bill online?
Phulublub replied to mrjohn's topic in Jobs, Economy, Banking, Business, Investments
I think (!) I have set up an automated payment from my KBank app to automatically pay my PEA bill every month.....tried on BBL app but no joy. Unfortunately, had already paid April's bill so will have to wait till next month to confirm PH -
Oh, the irony! PH

Just as your Grandparents may be outliers. But maybe previous generations were FAR more active than most (Western) people are today, so they could pretty much eat anything (non-processed) they wished. PH

Not me that lacks comprehension. To determine whether Thailnd's driving statistics are good, bad, or indifferent, one has to compare with other countries. Exactly the same as comparing Songkran statistics with those from other periods of the year to see if this period is any better, or worse, or just the same. You put your head in the sand if you wish; I will continue to look at a fuller picture. PH
-
On their own, these numbers are menaingless, even if totally accurate. How many die on a "normal" day? How does this week compare to all other weeks in the year. Crucially, what is the total number of passenger miles travelled this week compared to other weeks - to give a "deaths per xxx km travelled" truer comparison. PH

UK to be one of worst performing economies this year, predicts IMF

Repostign what was removed would indeed be silly. Posting something useful, honest, open, factual....go on, show us some examples of fishing industry nusiness that are doing well because of Brexit. PH -

Some examples would be very, very good to counter the documented evidence of thse who are NOT doing well. PH -

You are happy that our nurses are homeless!!!!!! PH -
So treat the causes of those increases What absolute and utter tosh!!! Nowhere, ever, has a gun, not held by someone, ever shot anyone. Never. When the 2nd Amendment was written, howoften could a gun fire before being reloaded? What was the muzzle velocity? How far would a round carry? Your "justifications" get weirder and more outlandish pretty much every time you post. There is NO reason whatever for having assault weapons in the hand sof the populatn as a whole. PH
-
Did you lose any other rights in (or post) 1994 when the Federal Assault Weapons BAn was implemented? Did gun killings drop in the US in the 10 years following that Law? When the ten year law ceased to be in effect, did gun killings rise again? PH (For the hard of thinking, the answers are no, yes and yes in hat order)

Tell that to the Health Service workers who are having to go to food banks to feed their families. But "I'm OK, Jack" lives on. PH -

We've taken back control doncha know? Loooook....Our Passports are now Blue again (loud cheers). That they are made in Poland (in the EU) by a French-Duth (both in the EU) firm when the previous Burgundy passports were made by DeLaRue (UK firm) just highlights the utter lunacy of Brexit. PH -

Six foreigners were detained for overstaying their visa with two of them being fined, one was arrested for working without a permit, four were held for illegal entry and 10 others on online gambling, carrying firearms and narcotics charges. Six were overstay, of whom two were fined. One more no work permit Four more illegal entry 10 others HTH PH

When the farang do gooders take over
Phulublub replied to georgegeorgia's topic in ASEAN NOW Community Pub
Agree. By the same logic that those advocating book-banning use, the Bible should be pretyy much first on the list to be banned...numerous verses advocate violence....one suggests gang-rape being acceptable (Lot)...one has "God" praising a racist murderer (Numbers)...one has a father murder his daughter as a sacrifice to his "Lord" (Judges)...and many, many other examples. But that would not fit their agenda. PH -
Passport needed for travel around Thailand?
Phulublub replied to ChomDo's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
Which is fine for you as you clearly travel overseas enough to have been able to convince the UK Gubmint that you need a second passport. That is not an option for the vast majority so, again, is a strawman diversion. PH
