  1. Well, they control the kind of car we can buy, and the kind of home we can build, yes?
  2. Why would anyone get on a flight if they thought there was a good chance they wouldn't make it?
  3. Does the government not control where you can go and for how long? Governments (good or bad) control most everything we do.
  4. New climate concerns, I'm shocked.
  5. While I'm skeptical of doctors everywhere, the doctors I have had in Thailand have generally been great.
  6. The best doctors in India don't stay in India
  7. So you think salesmen get work permits?
  8. You live at the Siam Kempinski Hotel?
  9. Do you guys think that all the salespeople that come to meet with customers or attend trade shows have to have work permits?
  10. I don't have it on the UPS
  11. What would be the point of a UPS when it's on standby? And I wanted it as much or more for a voltage-regulator/surge-protector as a UPS. Our power never really goes off. In any event, when I plug it in it comes on, so when I plug it into the UPS the UPS overloads and shuts off/won't come on.
  12. The cabin air filter in our Fortuner is B480 from Toyota or B60 on Lazada. No tools and less than 10 minutes to change.
  13. We did Thai ceremony with the monks and whatnot at the house, and the western style reception at a hotel. The hotel had several ballrooms for the receptions and a couple smaller rooms for the Thai ceremony if you do not want it at home.
  14. Check the wattage rating of each device. I know my printer draws quite a bit. I have this Schnider, it will run my computer and monitor, but not the printer too. Schneider UPS BV650I-MS 650VA/375Watt ชไนเดอร์ เครื่องสำรองไฟ ระบบ Line Interactive ควบคุมแรงดันไฟฟ้าอัตโนมัติโดย Auto Voltage Regulator (AVR) | Lazada.co.th
  15. You indicated that the racial makeup of supreme courts should match the racial makeup of the country, in much the way that juries supposedly do, correct? This does not make a lot of sense. First, assuming you do believe in racial quotas, should the quota not be representative of the state? Second, should the quota not be representative of people actually qualified to be a judge? Of the people qualified, how many want to be judges? What about states like Alabama that elect judges, should whites and or men be disallowed from running if their quota is already met? Why does the race of a judge matter?
  16. What kind of specialist?
  17. Only that jurors are not required to interpret the law, was that not clear?
  18. I would be thrilled if every Supreme Court Justice in every state and the federal court was a conservative Latina Lesbian. I hate leftist judges. I love conservative judges. I do not care about their race or gender. Just like you hate conservative judges, and you love leftist judges.
  19. Yeah, it's worth it.
  20. The left cares. They need to stir up a lot of animosity for the coming election. What about Clarence Thomas? He's black, yet they hate him.
  21. Because of all the out of order signs?
  22. Who was your doc at Asavanant? My "primary" at BHDC is Dr. Pintippa.
  23. I've been using the Bangkok Hospital Dental Center in Bangkok since before it moved to the "new" building on Phetchaburi about twenty years ago. I use them, my wife uses them, and my nineteen-year-old son uses them. Along with cleanings and check-ups. I've had a root-canal, a crown and two implants. My wife has mostly just had a few new fillings and quite a few old fillings replaced. I do not think my son has had to have a filling on any of his permanent teeth, but he had to wear braces for a few years. It is (I guess) a little pricy, but we have all been nothing but delighted with the services we have received there. My son's primary dentist was so good with kids I do not think he cried once, and he actually looked forward to going, and even wanted to be a dentist for a while. Coincidentally, (no pun intended) my boy had his cleaning last week (THB2,132) and my wife and I had ours done today (~3,600 each) for thorough, 45-minute sessions. I've had the same dentist for 15-20 years, and she is (as far as I can tell) the best I've ever had. I'm not changing. It is very convenient with parking and whatnot as well. Incidentally, the "space-age" looking third floor is pretty new. The older floors are very nice, albeit much more traditional. The "new" floor has a digital "lab" with a 3D-router you can watch and a nice display of dental appliances which is pretty cool.
