I notice your other threads eg
Seems that you are on extensions from a non O based on retirement and have a multi reentry permit?
In any event just start over.
Where are you located.
Use a border run company from either Bangkok or Pattaya
You asked this question in another thread.
Here is link.
Also threads from Bangkok to Cambodia.
Still not clear.
Sounds perhaps a Non O-A.
If still valid then that's a pity as you could have obtained a second year out of it..
Suggest you just start over.
You could enter Thailand visa exempt and subsequently obtain Non O (retirement) and 12 month extension + reentry permit to travel out/in Thailand
https://aseannow.com/topic/1311886-visa-exempt-to-retirement-extension-process-and-cost/
I would cut my losses.
Enter Thailand with new pp and start over..
What do you actually have.
A multi entry non O retirement is a visa valid for one year.
An extension from a non O retirement with a reentry permit is different.
It would be so easy for Thai immigration to provide clear RULES regarding eg number of days spent in Thailand with visa exempt entry etc
Crazy situation
There are vans at Udon Thani airport but that's just transport to friendship bridge.
The issue is they wait for van to fill.
A taxi airport to bar area Udon Thani just behind Centra Plaza is option for mini break.
Minivans leave regularly from front Central plaza to Nong Khai.
Don't think you will have an issue.
Just one person's opinion...I would do the bounce to Cambodia as per my previous post.
If flying to Udon Thani for bounce at friendship bridge that would also be good option.
I was not aware of that.
If using Nong Khai friendship bridge I'm not aware of any issue there without "agent=minivan to bounce same day.
@Tod Daniels is in the loop with current situation border bounces.
In that case a border bounce to Cambodia would be good option.
One option would be mini break.
Go to Pattaya and combine a visit to Pattaya with minivan company.
Here is good report:

Well done.
Think earlier posts advised that while still married you cannot opt to do extensions based on support of Thai child.
I understand immigration on that.
Really good to see it seems to getting to a "settlement"
Good luck
Yes, I recall that very sad event in2014.
Of course in places such as Japan...
(Shinkansen) Bullet trains you can chill with a drink + food.
Back to thread ....thinking the options all covered and discussed.
To each their own.
I wouldn't do either.
From Bangkok I would choose flight to Udon Thani.
Off topic: can you consume alcohol on train you mention?
I'm aware that it was banned on line Bangkok to hua Hin

Your previous thread explaining father situation did you consider option of flying out and return to obtain 60 day stamp
Yes.
My most recent extension (retirement) was Nov 5 and I had no issue making appointments few weeks prior.
I made back to back appointments for TM47 and annual extension.
Tip for others: if doing 90 day report in addition to extension you must do extension first.
As I posted earlier no appointment is not end of the world. Many suggest go very early to obtain que ticket to obtain que ticket.
Personally I never do that.
You have correct link to appointment.
You can only book one month in advance so wait till closer to expiry of current permission of stay
I also just tried. Same issue..
If appointment not possible even closer to expiry then you could try this...(has worked for me when appointment not possible)
Arrive CW just prior to lunch break to obtain que ticket.
Then use lunch break to obtain the "banking stuff" and do photocopies etc level 1.
The ticket allows you to enter quickly at 1pm.
Google "Spanish embassy" for address etc.
From web
Follow these steps
Step 1: Email the embassy.
Step 2: Wait for a response and file a police report.
Step 3: Go to your appointment.
Step 4: Collect your emergency travel document.
