Changing from agent assisted extension (cover financials) back to DIY then exit Thailand "start over" standard MO..

    Clearly you have not followed the threads. Sometimes few threads are same time. Countless reports of rejection. My own experience included. To think this is down to incorrect filling in of the online application is ludicrous. As I pointed out there is autofill available using the magnifying 🔍 icon. Also people can check the information. The OP, was concerning CW.

    The OP is asking about a border bounce. He wants to exit Thailand obtain entry stamp to Laos turn around and reenter Thailand. Taking car with him crazy.

    Your experience does not match the many that have been rejected. Through away lines such as "know their own date of birth date" etc are just wise cracks. Online reporting has drop magnifying glass for auto fill. The only field that may need changing is enter date in the event of overseas travel. Your report was accepted and no immigration office was mentioned along with any travel abroad etc

    If you enter Thailand with reentry permit the immigration can decide to only stamp you in till date of expiry. As @Crossy points out the io MAY offer you 60 day stamp. Why not reenter Thailand after reentry permit has expired. BTW: why no plan to continue extensions retirement.

    This is from OP. Given that he obtained a 60 day visa exempt+ 30 day extension I would not recommend a same day flight out and return looking for visa exempt entry. OP stick with idea of land borders. You won't have a problem. BTW you mentioned Vientiane. Recent report even that crossing appears to be requesting overnight stay.

    OP, you can obtain the Non O eVisa based on marriage or retirement in Australia. The process time is only few days. You have good advice from @Lacessit above. Personally I would suggest Non O marriage. The annual extensions require 400k in bank account in your name only seasoned for two months. The beauty is those funds can be used to live on after extension granted.

    I never stated 2 border runs per year. That rule was removed earlier this year.

    Just sniping one piece from your post. I align. Already had one hip replacement and back issue etc etc . I love Thailand but annual extensions not easy for many folk. Esp as I deal with CW. Soon will be using Agent. Maybe one more extension DYI. Zero money issue. That's not the problem.

    Umm you do report at Building B CW Doubt you will receive mail approval 5 days after due date. My plan would be to attend immigration for extension when suits you.     Maybe I have incorrect information. I had impression Singapore was not preferred option. Personally big fan of Saigon so that would be my preferred option. Laos last on list as thinking introduction of eVisa not as simple as Vietnam.

    CW often don't even process till due date. So unlike some offices there can be weeks till return post approval. By then 7 day grace for in person has past. If that occurs when you eventually attend immigration take along the EMS tracking number (maybe avoid fine)

    First up ...13 days should be enough . I have done exactly that with CW 13 early also. Approved and had hand written note to do it 15 next time. Re the reason not working now... they had idea to sync online reporting with TM30. Result: forum rules prevent how to describe it. Thinking "balls up" allowed
