You did not mention in the OP that you have had 2 tourist visas and extended each by 30 days. So how many days will have been in Thailand with very little time time out. Personally I would avoid retry via air. You need to exit prior to expiry of your current permit. Upon exit any days remaining on your stamp is gone. From Bangkok you could fly return to Nong Khai. Exit/reenter via friendship bridge.

In Bangkok you will also require a certificate of residence. You can renew your TDL after it's expired. I did a report in Motor forum will see if I can find it. Did mine in March at Chatuchak. Here is a thread that details Certificate of Residence https://aseannow.com/topic/1260361-certificate-of-residence-question/

Showing your true colors. Not surprised in the least. OP, you sound like a controlling kanker. Also pretty foolish to think it's a simple gig to take a Thai to live ongoing in Europe. Not impossible however problematic

I was referring to the "within 24 hours" Many folk make.sure they file a TM30 prior to dealing with immigration.... That random thread was 2019 when imm had the big clap down on TM30. Short lived.
-
Show ONE post where that has occured.. Some folk applying for 30 day extension were fined 800b without TM30 proof. The 24 hr was irrelevant. As

So folk that do it later are fined. Can you provide post of that.

There will be no fine regardless of when you register for your TM30. Make sure TM30 is filed prior to dealing with immigration for eg extension . Edit: replied to wrong post. Yes Mon 23 public holiday. Thinking immigration closed.

Help urgent Re eVisa Vietnam.
DrJack54 replied to DrJack54's topic in Visas and migration to other countries
Thanks for the reply. Don't have any time to try and find out what went wrong. I leave next Wed for Saigon. This evisa I will use to enter has again exactly same 16 day window. Enter date ....Until date. No doubt I will be given same 16 days.. I'm only there for 5 days so not and issue however onto Oz for couple of weeks and back to Saigon. At worst I have lost $50 usd I might use a Vietnam visa company to obtain eVisa for me. Damn shame as the eVisa applied is so easy. Prior to eVisa , Australians had to obtain approval letter and attend visa on arrival desk. Wish they still had that option now! -
So what type of accommodation did you move into in Bangkok. If renting a condo etc the owner can/should do s TM30 for you and you can ask for screenshot of it being filed

Tourist visa application - London
DrJack54 replied to retayl's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
Some fields you can skip. The one you mention is one example Since when is non O visa not issued. What was the non O based on previously? -
You are close. It's 2 months prior and 3 months after application and not below 400k in other months. Many folk opt to just leave 800k + all year round to avoid slip ups. And YES both methods are checked retrospectively. For cross over ...funds in bank to monthly transfers my understanding is both need to be shown . (Without embassy letter)
-
I dont see it that way. By way of example.... I have just now obtained current extension retirement using money in bank. I'm thinking of changing to income method. For the next 12 months I will do monthly transfers and ALSO maintain funds in bank. When io looks at my bank statements they will see that I complied with money in bank and should accept monthly transfers for next extension. The requirements are checked retrospectively. Exit Thailand and reenter and obtain new non O then can use your monthly 12 month transfers.
-
I'm only guessing...seems your agent may have used money in bank for current extension and funds (money in bank) were not maintained for current year. Yes the 12 monthly transfers you can show in bank however immigration will also look at your bank account for meeting money in the bank method. IMO .,With 12 month of transfers you will be able to exit Thailand reenter visa exempt. Obtain a non O retirement and obtain extension using monthly transfers

Really think you need to think it through Regards your overstay 1 day ... You will not be fined. Yes overstay stamp but one day is insignificant. If concerned about that you could obtain a 30 day extension to cover the one day (overkill) You have many options.
