  1. OR you could do a TM47 75 days after reentering Thailand. I use mail option and have never included TM30. (CW)
  2. Immigration at airports in Thailand not thrilled with fly out/in same day. At most land borders its common practice. Many folk use border bounce agents (recommended) If you post your location you will receive first hand reports. For example Pattaya to Cambodia
  3. Further bickering posts will be removed
  4. Thread trolling and somewhat offensive. Thread closed
  5. Topic off track. Thread closed
  6. Have you considered a METV. Provides 6+ month stay.
  7. The requirement for a TM30 reentering Thailand after overseas trip is tied up to online reporting. Immigration wanting to sync TM30 with TM47. Suggest you do a 90 report via mail 75 days after return date. Personally had several trips out of Thailand..In fact Saigon tomorrow. If my next annual extension requires a TM30 (never previously 12 yrs at CW) then I will file one. Aside: if the in person was absolute after every overseas trip, then I would do no TM47 and pay 2000b at annual extension.
  8. You can enter Thailand with a non O or can enter visa exempt or tourist visa and obtain non O at immigration. In any event the first 12 month extension of your permission of stay would need to be based on what the non O was based on. The common example would be non O based on retirement and first extension based on retirement then changing to further extensions based on marriage
  9. I was quoting a guy that specifically Refered to CW. Also the OP referenced CW. I have never seen an extension based on retirement at CW have a home visit..
  10. The OP is not applying for an extension based on retirement. He is applying for a non O retirement from a visa exempt entry. Most likely will have an under consideration period. When he subsequently applies for 12 months extension it will be granted on the spot. Provided financial requirements etc are met
  11. I'm not so sure. Assuming for current extension based on retirement he maintained the 800k for 3 months after last application and then not below 400k he could apply for the extension based on marriage with account showing 400k. Having stated that, I always suggest topping the account back up to 800k to cover all bases.
  12. The OP later explained he has a non O and in title asks about extension of his permission of stay by 60 days. Indeed that is possible. Granted he referred to extending his visa. Incorrect terminology.. Not a big deal.
  13. The OP could actually have a 90 day stamp from a non O and is asking about a first 12 month extension. Most likely he is already on extensions. If indeed it was his first extension he would have to do that based on retirement.
  14. No problem. You would need to have met the financial requirements for retirement up till application for extension. Assume you are on annual extensions. You don't cancel your non O.. Your wife will need to attend
  15. CW does not do a 90 day report when you apply for new annual extension. The only exception is your very first extension.
  16. What! You presented a USA pp. You are entitled to visa exempt entry. This thread is about DTV
  17. The "other gate keeper" is wrong. True USA pp holders can enter Thailand visa exempt along with MANY other countries. Airline issuing boarding pass can insist upon onward flight
  18. No. For application for non O retirement from a visa exempt entry can require home visit. No home visit would be required for 12 month extension based on retirement Re home drawn map.... required map is a long standing requirement at CW.

  20. If your application was processed and you were given a report back date then yes, the application will be approved. As for home visit. That's possible and you would have supplied cell # at application and they ring to advise home visit
  21. The 90 report has nothing to do with extension. Having stated that there are few immigration offices that do a 90 report when you do an annual extension. Which immigration office?
