  1. Geez. I'm telling you nothing has changed in regards to the questions you are asking. Changes occur in a general sense eg in recent times there is necessity to do 90 report in person after trip abroad. These "changes" are posted in various threads. Your questions have been answered.
  2. Nothing has changed. I asked earlier where would you be located. That had a reason. At Jomtien for example they are not doing visa exempt to Non O retirement. They require 2 months seasoning which is not the correct rule.
  3. Research....yes MANY threads advising on options. https://aseannow.com/topic/1329426-when-can-someone-withdraw-money-out-of-the-800k-deposit-after-a-retirement-extension/
  4. Why bother to a) download it and b) staple into pp.
  5. Can you outlined what you provided for the DTV e-Visa application.
  6. You would need to show the 800 seasoned for 2 months to obtain the 12 month extension. Also for the Non O outside of Thailand the funds do not have to be in a Thai bank. For the extension yes it does. All this is outlined in the thread I posted and links to other threads. Rather than play hypothetical, best to decide if you want to use agent or DIY for best advice.
  7. Obtain a Non O e-Visa outside of Thailand is a good option. Avoids any concern for "onward flight" requirement from airline flying visa exempt. Also saves one trip to immigration. I assume that you have a Thai bank account in your name only. Insurance is only required for a Non O-A visa and you do not want that visa. Alternatively.... You can enter Thailand visa exempt and obtain a Non O retirement+ subsequent annual extensions. In this attached thread my first post has links to 3 threads that outlines that process. https://aseannow.com/topic/1331945-documents-for-changing-visa-exempt-to-non-immig-o-at-cw/ In regard to use of agent that's up to you. Agent can obtain extension to the Non O you obtain outside of Thailand or can obtain both the Non O + extension. Cost approx 14k if you provide the Non O or ~ 28k from visa exempt entry. Will you be based in Pattaya?
  8. Most e-Visa sites do not specify a time period for the 500k ... eg here is cut/paste from LA eVisa.. "A copy of a recent saving or checking bank statement with an ending balance of no less than 500,000 THB or ($16,000 USD) that shows the applicant's name and date."
  9. So how did you activate it. Fly back to Cambodia and return? Bit different to OP who applied in Georgia
  10. Bit off topic however has anyone considered making pot legal in places such as USA, UK etc
  11. Visa exempt for UK passport is 60 days. Double check the stamp. Will have an "admitted till" date.
  12. OP, it's hit and miss and depends on immigration office. Even then each immigration office can change from day to day. There may be an issue with online 90 reporting if you don't make a new TM30. One option is to skip it and do your TM47 via mail.
  13. No. Read what I post at start re "piggyback". Also UK embassy does not provide income letter. They would both need to show 12 months of 65k per month. They need to start over. What is total monthly budget in Thailand? Don't wish to sound rude however poor planning.
  14. As I mentioned. You can't just switch to extension DYI. Immigration check financial requirements retrospectively. They cannot show compliance for previous 12 months. Suggest they continue with agent. Guessing first gig was Non O + extension. Next time it would be extensions only. Cheaper.
  15. Need to be clear., Seems that they both used an agent to obtain Non O (retirement) and subsequent 12 month extensions. You cannot just magically switch from agent extensions to DIY. You need to be very clear. BTW: It is not "their extension" It is two completely separate Non O + extension. What did it cost to be clear 60k ? Did you use a Hua Hin agent
  16. Does not have to be wife piggyback on husbands extensions (retirement) Can be other way around. Where is husband currently. Fall back option is for him to use agent. Where in Thailand will they be based.
  17. That's one option. If wife can obtain a Non O (dependant) prior to entering Thailand she could piggyback on husbands extensions from his Non O based on retirement as his dependant.
  18. Yes you are referring to "opportunity cost" of locking up 800k. As for bypassing that by a "fee" ... we already have that via use of agents. 13-15k You can obtain the "bank letter" same visit as picking up the 12 month bank statement. I changed from obtaining the bank letter on day of application as finding the banks at CW can now be busy. No que for general teller where you can make small deposit on the day of application and that also updates bankbook.
  19. OP, thinking you should do TM30 and 90 day reporting for where you live. See attached thread. Not same situation however @brewsterbudgen also lives in different province to where he works. Does address reports in one province and annual extensions in Bangkok. https://aseannow.com/topic/1350181-new-passport/#findComment-19547732
  20. Think you will find that all your entry history to Thailand will show up. In any event think your plan to exit and reenter via air showing the DTV e-Visa will be ok.
  21. Bangkok Bank cannot provide 12 month bank statements "on the spot" I read a post just recent that someone's statement took 3 days. In any event you can provide a bank statement that is up to 7 days old on day of application. Despite reading some posts of guys using money in bank method that CW has accepted the photocopies of the pages and bank book. I'm suggesting that CW will push for the 12 month bank statements moving forward. I have provided that for my last 2 extensions at CW. Cost is 200b and done on the spot by most banks. I obtain mine couple of days prior to attending CW.
  22. You can bring signed copy of Thai ID and Bluebook
