  1. OP, be aware that if married to a Thai national you can obtain 60 day extension to visit wife, if more time required
  2. OP, what is point of your thread. We find out on July 25 thereabouts. Many immigration offices have stopped issuing covid extensions, despite it being available in the gazette. Mind you they will give you one if you pay 5-6k baht.
  3. Exactly. The non O gives you 90 day stamp. In the last 30 days of that permit with money having been in account for 2 months then apply for 12 month extension.
  4. A non O marriage requires 400k in Thai bank in your name an day of application. The 12 month extension would require money in bank for 2 months on day of application and maintain in bank for the under consideration period
  5. You would be obtaining a 12 month extension based on Marriage. Using money in bank method that would require you to have 400k in Thai bank in your name for 2 months prior to application. You could also consider obtaining your non O in Thailand after arrival given that at some point you require funds in the bank.
  6. First up thanks for the report. Being Oz I require a visa. It seems that I can obtain 30 day visa however what I require is 90 day multi entry which does not seem available.
  7. My last post on the new hip. So a brief recap: 5 days in hospital. No pain really. First day home to condo and used walker. May have tried bit hard first few days and actually cut back a bit on amount of walking up and down hallway. So back to hospital 10 days later for check. So at this time I started feeling much better in the leg and walked further each day. Think a simple piece of advice from Sheryl was good for me. "Listen to your body". Yesterday purchased some sticks that also grip your arms. Tried some stairs and that, while slow, was not too difficult. So tomorrow is 3 weeks post operation. We are off to the Bang Saen speed festival tomorrow and hopefully that works out ok. I won't drive but think cab ok option. I don't plan to rush too quickly from walker as they say with this operation......Rule #1 don't fall. Sincere thanks to all the advice given in this thread.
  8. Best option is treetops post above. Alternatively you can mail your report.
  9. Thanks for the report. I have NEVER heard of immigration asking for proof on onward flight when entering with a tourist visa. Wonder what's going on.
  10. There will be no gnashing of teeth. Fact is currently covid extensions are available up till July 25. That's what's in the gazette. End of. Attached is messenger chat from my friends at Hua Hin obtaining covid extension (their first) in January. Make no mistake immigration corrupt to the bone.
  11. Yes the 90 day report. I think you are asking about TM30 notification.
  12. Immigration offices are just showing themselves as being bunch of minions. The higher up ones just out and out scam artists. Covid extensions should be available at all offices up till July 25. My advice use an agent. Granted 5-5.5k (includes the 1900 extension fee) but much better than trip to Phuket with TM30 required etc. Fight corruption with corruption. This embassy letter scam was tried on my 2 friends in Hua Hin as far back as early this year. They paid 5500baht each
  13. The OP is non O retirement extension advice. Not extension based on marriage.
  14. @OJAS seems I was only able to change my password as I registered when very first introduced. Not possible now? Refer to ubonjoe post above. Originally it was possible. Here is my email Dec 3 and I just changed to my usual password. Pity if that's not possible now. Guess with password manager (remember password) it's not a big deal.
  15. I changed to my own password when I first registered. No problem.. From memory received email with "change password" link.
  16. The OP has been using the term "report" ...poor choice. The thread is about TM30 notification. From the OP...... 'Sorry did not write more details, the receipt of notification of the adress, we get after tm 30 form was sent"
  17. Just to be clear OP are you asking about 90 day report to CW. Using online yes they do and also in person and via mail
  18. I'm not deciding anything for the OP. Again his thread asked for 6 month stay. Your plan as outlined is 5 months. In addition while he touched on non O (briefly) it's not clear if he is over 50. Basic requirement for non O retirement. The METV or back to back tourist visas are just 2 examples of 6 month plan.
  19. That is just yet another immigration office playing games. Earlier this year Hua Hin did same thing to 2 friends of mine. HH wanted letter from their embassy. Guess what (no surprise) 5k each fixed the issue..
  20. You missed the point. Not sure how immigration regards folk obtaining ongoing non O retirement visas For example can someone obtain a non O and after 90 days do a border bounce reentry and obtain another non O retirement. I realize your post did not state that. Point is people asking about 6 month stay often plan to do that ongoing (snowbirds). In any event as stated previously better options for the OP available and have been outlined in thread.
  21. That will work. Not so sure about it as an ongoing plan to provide 5 month stay by obtaining non O (without extension) year after year. The OP wanted 6 month stay. Think better options available.
  22. Well it's official ..I'm a convert to the new online system. This is now my second using the fab new system. So filled in the online form yesterday (Monday) 9am and now approved 11.23 am (Tuesday) This is for CW. As pointed out earlier by ubonjoe there is an auto fill for all but first couple of fields which takes out any small errors. Happy chappy here as this method is so so quick and can be done from anywhere in Thailand.
  23. So this 90 report online was made yesterday 9am (CW). How long should I wait. Received email application received and status is "pending". If no joy tomorrow think will use postal option.
  24. I assume your domestic flight is stand alone ticket. Be aware that for reentry permit at Suvarnabhumi the office is past security check just prior to passport control Zone 2. Whereas for DMK the office is just the other side of passport control.
